I think we should all unite and voice out to maxis. don't mess with us! haha..

legacy or corporate.. seriously.. I think legacy owners shouldn't be so proud, if I'm maxis, i'll be more concern about pissing the corporate users than u legacy owners. There are A LOT of corporate users, imagine a company has over 100 lines.. maxis are afraid of losing their corporate users I'm sure. So lets unite and kick the quota out.

Yeah just hope it's a temp maintenance just like last time.

Btw bought MR3420 yesterday instead of the MikroTik router that u recommend. Dunno whether I should feel happy or not, if bought the MikroTik router and Maxis does implement the quota, u should buy the router from me with the exact same price that I bought. cool2.gif

This is my assessment of the current situation. I could be wrong.

Maxis is hauling its system inline with IPV6 introduction and also LTE integration into its system.

LTE is a Quota guzzling thingy. Quota cap must come in.

We are experiencing some Glitch on its system on Quota not only 3G internet but also on Blackberry and Wireless Broadband.

After this so called upgrades are over, Biz68 will be capped ( duno what is the quota ) and Biz99 will be capped 30GB. As for Legacy, my and your hope is, it remains Unlimited. I believe Maxis will live up to its promises that Legacy will remain to be Unlimited. Biz99 uaers can again subscribe to Multisims @ rm15/sim but the combined quota will be 30GB shared among the sims.

We are having funny IP now is because its Database is so huge, it takes time to segregate who is who now. Maxis no doubt have acquired more IPs for this exercise. Thats why we are getting new sub IPs now.

Finally, i could be wrong but lets prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

See. This is the kind of selfish act I'm relating to the legacy users. As I said, Maxis wouldn't want to piss a whole lot of corporate users. But with this kind of selfishness. I do hope maxis put quota on all of us, legacy or biz corporate.

We will see.

This is not selfish, we have been a loyal customer of Maxis when they launch 3G, where were you then ?

We were given and promised Unlimited Data when 3G is not even in some minds.

I am confident Legacy will remain Unlimited.

I hope all existing subscribers can keep enjoying the unlimited data.
Maxis can stop the unlimited offer right now, so that only the new subscriber will be entitled to 30GB quota.

How about that? brows.gif
Now you can see how selfish I am right? laugh.gif laugh.gif

Just yesterday, was discussing with Digilife about the router about 2 days ago I think. TBH I didn't really pay much attention to the quota thing, I thought it's just the temp side effect of maintenance, until last time ppl were starting to believe that this quota thing is getting real and coming soon.

I looked at the MR3420 and I was glad that I didn't pull the trigger on the MikroTik. tongue.gif

The router is staying at office now, can't show the speed test.

I did one thing for my MF680 though, the magic tweak. This magic tweak gives me an additional signal bar, surfing is must more smoother, no more sudden death connection, I see the hope of my 3g despite all the worst conditions that I've here in the office. rclxms.gif
