I was making a change just before this. I screwed up a bit though so I had to clear everyone's notifications.

The upside of it is that notifications should work more reliably now, for example inside multi-quotes.

I have added a bump button and last bump time to the search and subscription pages. Can you give your feedback on this?

should make search result "RANK" oso...in classified forum topic list my thread kinda near top...but in search result my thread down2 below.....maybe search result based on latest time....

new system
kinda not fair for active seller/ts who do not need much thread reply from potential customer or receive contact through pm/email/phone onli.....i most of time being contacted through pm or contact detail i supplied in my thread

i hope we can get back the old bump style where we can easily identify which post we have bumped up recently. without the notification, it is difficult to determine which post has already been bumped and which has not.

Do you mean the user posted image does not works anymore?

Or just that TS replies will not automatically bump the thread?

Okay, i see a user posted image button without need to go inside the thread itself, which is a good change..

But i dont notice my thread showing in the "view new posts" anymore?

Great BUMP feature... at least I know which of my WTS hasn't been bumped yet via View Topics.
Can we have BUMP and opens in New Tab ?

After you have bumped your thread, the 'Bump' button (for the specific thread) will not appear for the rest of the day at your list of topics.

oh, just notice that. but i still think that, if the post bring up to the higher post according to the time we bump + new features will be better. for me with plenty of selling thread will still find hard to find it.

"We have relaxed the indirect bumping rules so you can post "PM replied", "thanks" etc in response to a query or complement on your thread. While implementing this, we have changed the bumping code so that only replies from your customers will bump your thread. Your own replies will not bump your thread; you must use the "Bump" button in order to bump." by wKkaY

only replies from your customers will bump your thread
- This one remains the same as the old bumping system.

Your own replies will not bump your thread; you must use the "Bump" button in order to bump
- This one also remains the same as the old bumping system. (Except own post/replies won't bump the thread)

we have changed the bumping code
Purpose: To avoid indirect bumping by own posts/replies.
Action taken: New bumping features were implemented.

The only weakness for sellers:
New System: The lining up (based on last post) confused sellers whether we have bumped the thread.
(Solution by Lowyat Team: Add "Bump Button" and last bumped period)

Old System: The lining up (based on last post & last bump) benefits sellers whether we have already bumped the thread & whether there is a new reply. (For me, a perfect system or at least better than new implementation.)

Back to the purpose of the new bumping features' implementation, which is to prevent indirect bump by own post/replies, why don't:
Remain all the old bumping features but only have a code change on "No bump when own posting/replies". What I have seen here all things were remained unchanged (though the way of execution has changed) except own replies will not bump the thread, by changing this sole one is enough to achieve the entire purpose of this new features.

My 2 cents worth feedbacks. laugh.gif
