Maxis can apply for multi sim, go apply and cough up some extra dollars for it.

The last time I checked with maxis, you can have:
1. Multi-SIM for one number
2. Multi-number for one sim

2 sim cards allow you to enjoy mobile data on 2 devices but there is only one default simcard that will be receiving calls and SMSes.
I think it's RM15/month. And there is some one-off payment to get the sim card as well.

(Source: called up maxis last year for this question.)

You can have multisim one number and one simcard that sets to default receive calls and smses. Both simcards can make calls and sms and both originate from same number.

But for data, both simcards requires different packages. Meaning if you subscribe to unlimited data, you cannot share the unlimited data on both (or more) of your simcards.

Actually you can have up to 5 multisims.....and if they allow unlimited data to be shared to all the 5 simcards...maxis will go bonkers haha.

Through telco, they'll only provide you with 3rd party warranty coverage. Those won't be serviced by Apple btw, so not really a good investment IMHO. Same applies for 2nd year complimentary warranty for those who are on 2-year contact.

Singapore got AppleCare for SGD99, but that only applies for the ones sold there AFAIK.

Multisim is for voice & sms only. For data, you have ivalue 1 for your main sim, and your alternate sim, you either subscribe to one of the data package or be charged by data upload/download.
