i think, even no rebate RM200 also need to wait , and no stock most of the time.

+ this new rebate scheme.. the waiting time just gonna extend longer. unless u are staying in town that no rebate is available for that centre. tongue.gif

Some may curse due to limited stock / infrequent stock up. Haha. But hey... congrats on your purchase.

i also did my pre-booked 3 weeks ago.. but registration and port in very fast. because no ppl is signing up the iphone5 plan at there.

the only drawback in small town is the maxis 3g speed.. maximum i can get is 2Mbps +

so seeing you guys 10-20Mbps.. drool.gif

how long you cannot connect to internet? a few times i cudnt connect to the internet, thought my phone was barred, but it came back the following morning. and im not alone, a few of my friends using the same phone and telco also faced the same issue.

think maxis is doing upgrading/maintenance.

No issues with my nano simcard. All is fine.

Your sms received looks weird....I never received any such message. The maxis fellas might have made some mistake n screw up your data plans....best if you can drop by maxis centre to sort them out.

Try restart the phone.

QUOTE(dr0olingb0at @ Jan 15 2013, 11:51 AM)
Tried restarting ur iPhone? Mine was unable to connect to 3G for few hours and then i restarted it to find it back.

Anyway I read that you guys were saying maxis would not incur pay-per-use charge after exceeding quota? Any reliable source to that? I am using iValue 1 (RM100). Thanks!
*
restarted for more than 20times in last 24 hours already, still no data connection. but call/sms are working perfectly fine.

Consider throttle to left 10-15% of full speed?
Isn't mean if area that get like 8-10mbps.
10% should around 0.8 Mbps ?
*
my area only 2mbps ++ small town

my first bill of ivalue plan come in, the pro-rated one. but got many hidden charges, gotta contact maxis CS to clarify and they promised to waive on the next bill. becareful guys.

my example - 5 days pro-rated ivalue simple plan (RM50)

they charged me:

1. RM8.07 (so should be RM50/30 x 5 = RM8.3) OK
2. RM6.39 (New GPRS Service ivalue) ??
3. RM4.98 (Calls - waive RM4.98) OK
4. RM3.85 (SMS onnet RM1.30; offnet RM2.55 - only waive RM1.85) ??

don't care about the SMS charges, let's focus on the RM6.39. is that hidden? laugh.gif

according to Maxis CS, everything will be prorated. e.g. commitment fees=50/30*5. free calls= 200/30*5, free sms=100/30*5.
*
Yeah. i donknow how they count the SMS because on/off net different charges.

just wan to emphasize the New GPRS Service - RM6.39. where did it come from?

if you call cs, they will tell you the new GPRS were those usage before you changed it to Ivalue Simple plan. e.g. what you have used in your first 25 days of your billing cycle.
*
just called to them and CS will waive for me on next bill..

because i asked her ' why i sign up ivalue simple should be having unlimited data and if over the 1GB should throttle the speed (and they did throttle my speed), why still charged RM6.39?"

she nothing to say and agreed to waive for me. blush.gif
