wow maxis now offers RM200 rebate for iphone 5 (prepaid/postpaid) but only apply to 16gb.

i think, even no rebate RM200 also need to wait , and no stock most of the time.

+ this new rebate scheme.. the waiting time just gonna extend longer. unless u are staying in town that no rebate is available for that centre.

i did it with less than 30 minutes feel good to stay in small town

i also did my pre-booked 3 weeks ago.. but registration and port in very fast. because no ppl is signing up the iphone5 plan at there.

the only drawback in small town is the maxis 3g speed.. maximum i can get is 2Mbps +

so seeing you guys 10-20Mbps..

today received a SMS from Maxis

"RM0. Sorry, your request to deactivate your iData Unlimited Plan is unsuccessful, Please call 123 (Maxis) for asistance. Thank you"

after few moment, my data connection lost, and i only can call/sms only. i just signed up ivalue simple plan on last saturday. so tat's mean i can browse the internet on saturday until today, monday noon before the SMS from Maxis.

anyone encounter this problem?

anyone here facing some nano-simcard issue?

i can receive/make calls and SMS but lost data connection. just signed up ivalue plan 2 days ago i can browse the net on first 2 days.

live chat - come out not the network and my device problem.. so should be nano sim card..

been 24 hours cannot connect to the internet already. but i still can make/receive call and SMS.

restarted for more than 20times in last 24 hours already, still no data connection. but call/sms are working perfectly fine.

visited Maxis MEP... changed SIM card. kawtim.

yeah.. just wonder why no data connection but can call and SMS

in my area i can get 2.xxmbps download and 1.xxmbps upload

while throttled.. only can get 0.02mbps and 0.01mbps.. still can whatsapp la haha..

my area only 2mbps ++ small town

i know what i am talking. i didn't pop in and make sales and i have been discussing and sharing at few pages back.

back to topic:

after i ported into maxis, yesterday a woman called me from 03-67309016 to do some survey and she offered extra weekend RM8 for trial one month.

my first bill of ivalue plan come in, the pro-rated one. but got many hidden charges, gotta contact maxis CS to clarify and they promised to waive on the next bill. becareful guys.

my example - 5 days pro-rated ivalue simple plan (RM50)

they charged me:

1. RM8.07 (so should be RM50/30 x 5 = RM8.3) OK
2. RM6.39 (New GPRS Service ivalue) ??
3. RM4.98 (Calls - waive RM4.98) OK
4. RM3.85 (SMS onnet RM1.30; offnet RM2.55 - only waive RM1.85) ??

don't care about the SMS charges, let's focus on the RM6.39. is that hidden?

Yeah. i donknow how they count the SMS because on/off net different charges.

just wan to emphasize the New GPRS Service - RM6.39. where did it come from?

i signed up itemized e-billing (waive RM5)

so they sent me the bill in pdf file thru email.

just called to them and CS will waive for me on next bill..

because i asked her ' why i sign up ivalue simple should be having unlimited data and if over the 1GB should throttle the speed (and they did throttle my speed), why still charged RM6.39?"

she nothing to say and agreed to waive for me.
