FINALLY LOL!! got something ... sai dou fish. just a small one tho. i was about to leave already since i wasn't planning to fish when night falls. when i was reeling in thinking there's nothing i felt these few jerks on the line that i have not been feeling for quite some time, and i was like DAFUQ COULD THAT BE?

i cant believe i am actually so happy to see this small puny fish lolz. i guess i shud put my fishing hours later in the evening next time for better results.

hey guys, i have something to discuss about. i've been getting much criticisms from my family members about me going fishing.

in a nutshell, they have been saying that i am ~wasting time~
they say..
- that i shud rather get a fish from the market
- wasting petrol going to the place to fish
- fishing is uncle's activity
- my skin is tanned till i look like a malay (no racism intended lol)

perhaps all i need is to get my full time job (i am 23 y/o). atm i am waiting for my result to be out at May and i am currently looking for a job. i guess maybe is becoz they don't 'see' me actually looking for a job that caused them to be so unsupportive.

hi guys, good news, my friend is planning to open up a paypond somewhere in bandar utama, and is asking around for opinion. nothing is decided yet, but he is wondering what kind of pond will be popular. initially he wanted to do something like jpond, only haruan and toman, CNR but at a much cheaper rate. what u guys think? or any other idea? or, CNR, with a fee, but fish can be taken back by weighing and pay extra. can haruan, toman and PB put into a same pond?

pond size is about the size of jpond, but tentatively not putting in arapaima, mekong and such mega mega fish. but is thinking about amazon redtail and asean redtail. pls keep the ideas coming, this could be our next "home", haha

i'd like to put the two toman nuts under water for the same time span as the toman was out of the water, after they've run 2kms

as for the fly fisher, i'd like to hold him down flat, without clothes, on a nicely sunned piece of zinc .. whether the foot rests on him or his face remains to be seen

lazy, ignorant, or couldn't be bothered?
curious tho' why he was stripping line instead of reeling in the line ...

the fly fisherman part i didnt bother to see, but for the toman, no worries bro toman can survive out of water as long their gills are wet, it should be putting him in water for as long after running 2km, but with oxygen  still, could have done it much faster
btw, how sure are we, that he released the fish back? lol

5 rods, 4 hours each, nothing, and when trying to retrieve back and cabut, whalaaa..sangkut this monster's tail. 15kg patin, and the run, for the first time in my life i felt it, it CANNOT be stopped!! lol.. within seconds the lines on the 1000 reel got peeled off only a few rounds left.

J&J paypond, just opened last month

guys, was cleaning up my reel, and i can feel the drag its not smooth, any idea what causes it and how to fix it? i know sending to the shop for servicing cost around 10-20, but will that solve the prob? TQ

search in facebook for j&j fishing grounds plt, got address and map there, i might go this saturday, u wanna tag along? last week friday they released 1 ton of 5-20 kg patin, monday pacu, max size 10kg. but i realise the pond water might have some problem, fishes keep dying on a daily basis, therefore the poor bite rate, just my assumption though. there was once when we went there, all the tongsan came to our side, which is next to a pump (not functioning) gulping for air, and i'm talking about easily close to a hundred of them, all right in front of us. no way fishes going to feed at this kind of condition. hope the condition improves, the plus point about this pond is they really put in huge huge monsters, and its RM30 for 4 hours

not sure going wat time, i bought their package, but saturday got competition, dunno can use my ticket or not. if can, then i'll go at 9pm-2am, if kenot, then maybe sunday only i go, also around the same time. i use bread + pandan/strawberry, total i went 4 times, 2 times white fruit, the other two time we caught the most fish that night. 15kg that 1, white fruit whole nite, that one was foul hooked

sry bro that day tak jadi pergi..yah water is now filthy, i still have 8 hours left on my coupon need to finish by this week, after this will say bye bye to this pond, if the bite rate is still like how it is now

maybe this saturday evening i will go see/test, even though u guys say water condition is bad. If it looks too bad, probably detour to Lembah Meranti instead

I've always wanted to do fishing, I wanna go fishing with my dad but we dont know any fishing spots here.

I live in Petaling Jaya (Near 1 Utama), may I humbly ask, does anyone know fishing spots nearby? preferably 5-10 spots please!

Also, how to start off fishing? a.k.a > recommended rods for beginners / hooks / bait / useful tips.
