melawati haven been before but laguna last time went like 9 months ago

bite rate not to good , only 1 strike in 4 hours time .....

is day trip

Date : OCT 2013 , (sunday ) 2 trip, date to be confirm
target fish : Sha jue , gulama ,sting ray , jenahak
time : 7.30am - 5pm
8am - 1pm will go to sasaran famous spot BLACK WOOD , try luck for jenahak , gurau and ETC
1pm will leave to other location until 4.30pm
Target fish : bulus, gulama , sting ray
boat fees : RM 350 share share
bait : prawn and kembong fish, octopus ( i can buy , but share )
food on boat : chicken rice ( want extra tibits pls bring urself)
estimate : each person below RM 100 ( if 5-6 ppl )
confirm myside is 3 ppl ,

hi, new to buying fishing rod..
i want to buy a fishing rod as i'm going boat trip in mersing soon..
just want to know if there is any combo suitable for me? tight budget though..

actually i also not sure coz i can be considered new to fishing.

u ,must know wat is ur target fish 1st ,
how deep is the sea ,
jig , bottom or pop.

only u can buy

deep i really dunno how deep o..
but i do bottom n jigging.. this i know.. lol

if for rompin , jigging , u can use PE 1-3 is more than enough , reel go use 3000-5000 with 20-40lb , 200 meter will do

oh ic, can use lure? i heard ppl use lol

back then when i go haven seen anyone using lure , so i have no idea about it ....

from what i heard, if you want to use lure, u need to rasuah first.

rasuah with bread, then cast white colour lure and where u rasuah, then u wait...

Laguna... Back then about 2-3 years ago, we will go to the opposite site(of the tarmac) we call island and will rasuah 1 or 2 pc gardenia whole slice.... Then cast a white colour popper near the bread... Then the pacu will frenzy hantam the bread and we'll try to move the popper as near to the bread as possible (best if stuck to the bread) then very high chance that the pacu will hantam the white popper... This is during the nite.... Not sure if still works or not lah... Long time dun go Liao...
