For now u have to order online via those big shops like tackle warehouse or BPS, tackledirect.
Else you may wait for TCE Malaysia to bring in.

Any budget? Or range?

I used to go for the usual well marketed brands and i am using :

Suffix 832
Suffice performance Fused
Tuffline
Power pro
spiderwire red code

but i realised that these are not a fine as those JDM lines.
If you can or wanna invest more try going for

YGK Soul PE
Varivas Casting PE
Cant recalls some Samurai line at ah Boy's place.
Sunline PE braided

yes they are costly, some may even cost 2-3 times more,... but the line are way smoother and thinner diameter. that means you can spool more line
*
is suffix 832 good? i thinking of power pro. last monday i bought 1 RM1xx line (though wit tat price is good braided) shop owner at kepong recon say how good la but i try at home dead lift 5 kg
snap mad.gif mad.gif den i try go real test broke even 1.5kg jenahak vmad.gif vmad.gif return to shop say nvr seen broke line b4 la blah blah blah

Would go for832 rather than power pro.fyi theres fake power pro in the market.BTW what line did you bought bro? mind to share the brand ,so we could be aware in future.btw,u sure is kepong tackle owner boh? as I know the owner only spend his time drinking Chinese tea,at the behind coffee table.
*
Nt tat kepong tackle is opposite tat small tackle shop . Not the famous one. The brand is amigo. Really shitty brand use a scale at 10kg break -.- 30lbs can't even deadlift a 13kg dumbbell Lolx

Morning All,

Got a call from a long time friend. He's operating the Giant Grouper in Sitiawan and inviting us to go.

The fees: Rm1,800
Pax: 10 orang
Hours: 6 jam

Practically one cast one fish type of place.

Pond A:
Estimated a little bigger than basketball court
200+ Giant grouper ranging from 5~10kg
400+ Siakap ranging from 3~5kg
Good for warm up fishing.
Zero snag zone, can go as low as 10lb!!!
Water depth: 10~20ft

Pond B:
Smaller than basketball court
200+ giant grouper ranging from 10kg~15/20kg
200+ siakap ranging from 5~10kg
Some fish fighting skills required cos got snag
Water depth: 10~15ft

Effective lures:
Anything that can hit the base of the pond
Large soft plastic, super deep diver
Topwater is good for large siakap

Average 1 pax is at RM180

you'll be surprised. the YGK X3 casts smoother than lots.

rounder, better profile.

when you really think that line materials / brands, think again.

your guides, your line condition, cleanliness of your guides, guide arrangements all play an important role to ensure friction free line delivery. once delivered, don't forget the retrieval of the line and how it fares when it put pressure on your line guides and reaction to your guides.
