that is jepg compression lar
sony compress the photo too much, there r many mod in xda
2 edit few line n thn u can get the photo in uncompressed 100% quality

or the normal 10% compression set by many camera

yup sony compression u get 2 mb per photo in jpeg format
uncompressed jepg u get 4 mb to 6 mb per photo in 12 megapixel to 13 megapixel

these r the size differences, if u take many many photo it will definitely eat spaces
thn the camera r not fast like camera, n some photo taken might not be the 1 u want
n furthermore with the xperia Z burst most u get 10 photos per sec
so it really take up spaces, if u decrease the compression,
the SD card tat u used must be fast in writing high volume of data down also
so really got pro n con there


if in dslr camera u even can choose 100% uncompressed raw
10 mb ++ to 60 mb per photo n various with megapixel

the comparison is also not very accurate
2 get accurate comparison n result, the iso must be the same also

even shutter rate also, but kinda impossible 2 adjust shutter rate
bcauz it is not a advance camera but possible with iso

but most of the time is the SD card problem
delay write, if u use lower class SD card

thn tis review is not just comparing the camera itself
it is comparing the camera n the software also

i mean most of the cameras lar u will notice the difference whn u use lower class SD card
in phone the storage tat they used normally good n high speed 1

but if u buy SD card at outside, some ppl will say 64GB i can get in RM 20 ady
y u buy a hundred ringgit 1? but they don't knw abt the speed n class difference n the importance of it
so like tat lar, after using thn u will notice the difference

but in DSLR they don't compare in this way bcauz u can't get a correct result

but the option to choose compression type is good

tat is bcauz of the brand value lar
there r many phone or device tat use corning glass or AGC glass
but in fact if u check there r difference in spec n type they used
thicker/ thinner 1/ the differences in strength etc

like u heard ppl say my screen is gorilla glass by corning but it still break / scratched
corning cheat ppl, n if sony advertise they use the glass, ppl will feel reluctant 2 buy it

so instead they would not want 2 advertise abt tat part

xperia s got plenty of those

only tablet come with stereo speaker
