The building should be completed very soon. You can see from the photo. However the application for Certificate of Fitness will take some time as approvals must be secured from various government departments/units. However very good chance will receive the keys before the year end. Best Wishes.

Understand the developer is working hard to attract quality and reputable tenants for SS retail shops.

A ultra kiasu who is trying to show off again that he knows alot. Hold your horse. Has this ultra kiasu heard of Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) ? The reason why CF was mentioned because most people is still familiar with CF. Learn to be humble if you think you are smart there will always other people smarter than you.

The Developer is doing their best to attract quality tenants for their retails lot. They realised the importance of getting quality tenants. Hopefully they will make announcements of the list of tenants before the handling over of the keys. Personally they should be able to secure quality tenants as the location of SS is excellent and also there are 600 units of apartments here which provide a pool of ready customers.

Friend, it is fruitless to talk about the past what is more important is the FUTURE. Really who knows with SS and other recent developments/infrastructure it would revitalise the area. You just need to check the ACCESSBILITY and CONNECTIVITY of this area and you would immediately realise the potential here. It all up to you whether you are bold to seize this new opportunity or continue to harp on past history which bring no benefits to anyone.

Please do not compare 1 Shamelin with Shamelin Star. It is a mismatch. First of all they belong to different developer and management teams. Secondly one is mainly consisted of retail lots and another is Service Apartments with retail shops ie their usage , their sizes etc are different. It is just like comparing Cheras Leisure Mall and the previous Plaza Phoenix, Cheras.

The latest MyTown Shopping Centre with 1.1 million sq ft of retail space and more than 400 stores is reported to be opened this coming November. This will add more facilities/ amenities and the economic spill over effects which will benefit residents of nearby projects including S Star. It looks like the pace of development for Cheras is moving very fast. Cheras folks need not travel far for their shopping trip.

Alpha Team do not worry. First of all S Star is a Service Apartments and NOT a Shopping Mall. Not competing directly with dedicated shopping mall. The retail shops are to provide amenities and convenience to the residents of S Star. A very short distance from S Star you can find all the quality stores you want. This is why people is saying the accessibility and connectivity of S Star is par excellent.

Friend you forget a important fact that S Star is a Service Apartment and not a Shopping Mall. S Star is not competing head on with Shopping Malls. Infact more shopping malls the better for residents of S Stars. More choices for them. We welcome more shopping mall in S Velocity and also the medical centre. S Star with its excellent location is just a short distance to these malls/facilities and definitely a very plus factor.

Friend why Taman Maluri which include AEON in the past does not have positive impact on Shamelin there are many reasons and articles concerning it have appeared on newspapers. One of the reasons quoted was that until recently there is no direct link or short cut bewteen TM and Shamelin.
Thank you for being honest that you are not unit owner of SS. By the way do not worry as we are realistic and know how to manage our expectation. As stated earlier we are optimistic for a very good reason as the location of S Star is very favorable.

It is indeed very amusing in this forum. It looks like non unit owners are more concern and worry about the project than unit owners themselves. One or two people even consistently try to tarnish the image of this project for obvious reason. However we are very optimistic.

Contrary to the above often it is the good project that people like to tarnish. Mostly these people have missed the golden opportunity to purchase earlier now they are envy of others. How do you explain people that purposely posted FALSE information such as the project will be delay when the SPA is not even expired. For your info the owners are enjoying gain. What we are doing is to put the record correct and not merely just defending it. To be fair this is a forum for everyone to participate but not a avenue for people to post false information with sinister motive.

Friend, understand owners will receive their keys latest by end of Dec 2016.

As you are staying in SS what will be your budget for moving in ? Buying new HD TV, new sofa, refrigerator etc.

For those who have managed to go to 7th floor I was told that the KL view from there is fantastic and not forgetting the Olympic Size Pool ! ( I have seen the photo).

Friend share some photo with us once you have completed your renovation. Do not worry about your minimalist budget. Anyway there are still 2 more months ie Nov & Dec to save extra money for your renovation before handling over the keys.
