Hi @ASUSmy ,I had bought a rt-ac1200hp for unifi ,but then when im proceed to set up the internet , the connection is time out, even the unifi id and password is correct... And there no option to choose either unifi home or unifi business like other asus router can.. Can you help me 😅

I'm currently using a Asus DSL-N55U-C1 modem/router for Streamyx. Soon, I'll be upgrading to Unifi, so I want to ask is it possible to just use this same N55U as a router for my Unifi later?

Seems like the WAN setting has an option between ADSL WAN and Ethernet WAN. Wonder if I can connect the Unifi through Ethernet WAN

The reason I dont need 5Ghz because I only can find two other wireless network around my house, their signal are weak too, only 1 ~2 bars. I dont experience signal loss/disconnections because my house wifi is not overlap with them.

But what are their difference between RT-N18U and RT-N14UHP. Would prefer cheaper alternative if the expensive one dont give me too much benefit

I was walking past a shop and saw asus routers.  I am on unifi and using their IPTV. I read a bit online and sae that the RT-AC55UHP seems to be a good fit? Any other recommendations?

but i did find a newer Version 3.0.0.4.380.2943 from Asus USA, can i patch with that?

Speedtest was on wireless and yes it might be subjective but compared to L7 router original placing it less by 2 mbps.its weird
Test servers are local servers like Ytl or maxis or tm
Thing is when I swap back to L7 I did get 10mbps
And another thing I noticed the free ram is like 2mb upon startup or so is that normal?
That's with normal usage browsing
No downloads or heavy usage yet.

It is connected to the RJ11 ports. MikroTik maybe too technical for my friend to configure and managed.
I hope to recommend him to something that is easier to managed as his house already have AP setup and these APs (8 in total) will connect to this new router. Enabling both sets of wireless can be confusing and difficult to troubleshoot in the future.

In terms of performance and features, what are the differences between these models?

Hi all

Im using AC55UHP. Hooked it up with DLink 850L as an AP.

Hook up both router with my hdd, 500gb each. I can access both 55UHP n 850L using AiCloud.

But then, changed to Tplink C5. Same thing, hook it up as an AP and 500gb hdd.

The problem is i cannot access C5 using AiCloud....

Do u guys think the C5 doesnt support that?

i mentioned it works with the DLink 850L, dlink =/= asus.......

i dont want to go to that solution as once everyone upgrade to higher speed, congestion will still occur. just imagine paying 300 for that

If I bought an Asus item from a KL shop through the Internet and the item is spoilt and is still under warranty, can I send the item to JB Asus service center for RMA process instead of sending it back to the KL shop? The reason is because I currently live in JB.
