The respond of the user interface is faster. Wireless AC seem faster as well base on the PHY rate. I did not conduct a speedtest.

Hi guys, I don't know where to ask this but here goes.i bought a rt-n12hp to replace the Unifi 10mbps L7 networks router hoping it would be better but I was disappointed when I compared against the L7 router
1) speed test Only produced 7mbps
2) wireless signal was not stable,keep dropping
3) hung when using it for heavy streaming tv services
4) although advertised as high power but didn't seem to be any diff then L7 router

Could there be any tuning or settings to be tweak for optimum usage?thanks to all sifus here

i know it might sound funny or crazy, but my router is really warm. i was thinking to buy a cheap cooling pad. do u guys think thats a good idea or im just gonna waste my money.

Hi Asus. i got an issue with rt-n14uhp as a repeater.

A)main router = ac55uhp
B)repeater  = rt-n14uhp

B cannot connect to A.
update** ive changed the channel width on A to auto and it works

What is the proper way to perform hard reset? Is it press the reset button for 2 sec when the router is turn on ? I could not find any documentation explain that part except stating the location of the reset button.

Interesting, I just tested with a portable fan and it wasn't even installed to the back of my router. Temp dropped from 87-89 C down to 67-69 degrees. Can't imagine how much better an attached fan or two would perform.

Hi, i have Asus RT-N12D1 router and running firmware version 3.0.0.4.378_9479-g4945ac6 on Unifi network, what do you check if your router randomly hanged (The Internet is fine on different router) and force to reboot to back online

Think it is something went wrong with the firmware, based on the Asus Router System Monitor App, the RAM is almost fully 97% utilized out of 27mb/28mb and CPU usage is 2% usage, i have 6 devices connected to the network, we are mainly for web surfing, WhatsApp texting.

How do we register for warranty? Bought one new router from Lazada and it entitles 3 years local warranty. Let say I want to claim warranty, what is the requirement? Is the tax invoice sufficient to claim?
