I am facing a problem,  which my wifi signal is weak in my room, only 1 wall in between.

I wonder if i change to the RT-N12HP router will help in my problem?

Currently using TMnet router which is in orange and white, VIP30 plan only 3-4 device using the wifi.

Yea, already more than 3yr. Not sure which model tho. Mobile phone affected as well. Sometime it slow down left 2bar signal. Any model suggest? Not a tech savy here, prefer user friendly setup.

this is beta firmware thats why u cant find it at the website. whatever you see at the website is the latest/stable release.

Damn the new 9.0.0.4.380.2985 BETA firmware is really stable
Downloaded 70 torrents, all completed without any DC

Whereas on 3.0.0.4.378.4850 BETA, my RT-N16 keep disconnecting even while downloading just 1 torrent

Help! I just bought a RT-AC55UHP to replace Unifi stock router. After configuring the Unifi password and rebooted, the router went dead. No LED light in any mode. Try remove the power and reset/rebooted a few time but nothing is happening. 

What could go wrong?

Unfortunately, I don't other power cord. When the power is turned on, all LED light up then off. 

Also just bought the same router. But my problem is i can't open config site (192.168.1.1)

Hey guys I updated my rt-ac68u to latest firmware 3.0.0.4.380.3831. Now can't connect to unifi at all, in the past got isp special requirement in the quick setup but not anymore. Anyone can help please

new firmware prevents me to revert to previous firmware. they change some certificate or something.
anyways figured out the problem.

Just realized there is a Asus thread...need help with the below.

Trying to change my router from unifi stock to Asus RT-N12HP_B1. The WAN setup is smooth in router and ping test works in the router (pinged a few sites).

However, all devices connecting wirelessly to the Asus can't connect to the internet. I've disabled firewall in the router and also set DNS to 8.8.xx...no idea how to solve this already.

Firmware on the Asus also the latest, DHCP enabled

We have just moved home and waiting for unifi installation, during this time I have been using the hotspot from my phone for Internet..but it is not great coverage...Google says I am supposed to be able to just plug the android phone into the usb and turn on the USB tethering then I can share the phone connection through the router afterI have selected USB WAN in the Asus setup page 192.168.1.1...
Have tried with 2 different phones and it's still not working???
Has anyone used this feature on the 55UHP before?

The last time you pointed to a new firmware release for this router... It still isn't on the global site?? Any idea if the beta is safe to use?

Did you update your firmware for the ac55uhp?

Did you encounter any problem.... or smooth sailing as before?

I just updated to the latest firmware. You get some new features such as the app compatibility and the stability and performance is better. No weird issues found.

Can we just update the firmware through wireless or do we need to be connected wired?
