Technically it should but again there may be risk. I come across forums before that mention digital vs disc based saves may not be compatible. I have digital and disc based Homefront and my saves are sure as hell not compatible sadly.

If I were to choose between US and EU, which one you will be recommending? ( I know they don't differ much, but I just want to really make sure before I dump my money into their one year subscription)

Its up to you honestly when picking either of this as people usually pick base on there own personal preference of the respective region instant game offers. I personally have already been on US PS+ for 2 years already.

Save file is tied to profile. U cannot switch it.

Either one is fine. Most games r same but there will be a few different free games on offer. I used all 3 regions and am enjoying all the gaming goodness.

You have to have an account in the region before you can access the store. So if your main is US PSN, then you need to register a Japan PSN to access Japan store. Same for other Asia Countries (they are different).

I got a dell ultrasharp u2312hm and I was thinking of hooking it up to my ps3.

So my question is it better to use vga to hdmi or dvi to hdmi cables. My second question is since the monitor doesn't produce sound, is there any way for me to get the sound going when using this monitor?

e.g. i download dlc from asia psn, using r3 game ... killzone 3

then use my us psnid to play the game (dlc is accessible)

I've tried this with Uncharted Best edition R3 and finished the game. Bought another copy All Region greatest hits and the save games are not there anymore. Need to start all over but the trophies are still the same. There's no new set of trophies for R3 and All region copies. I guess the saves are region locked but the trophies aren't. Would love to know if this applies to other games or only for Uncharted.

A lot of games the saves are region-locked but hardly people try out because rarely people by the same game twice with different region.

Trophies however are not region locked but there are some trophies that are stackable for different regions (saves are separate also). Example :

1. Demon' Souls - 3 sets of trophies for R1, R2 & R3
2. Tomb Raider Underworld - 2 sets (1 for the English R1, 2 & 3 and the other for R2 JP)
3. Borderlands - Same as Tomb Raider

This are however very rare especially something like Demon Souls.
