no warranty for own negligence. New screen cost rm 600+ go repair it at service center, if got stock few days.. Tell them you need it ASAP, because you will fly to overseas or something.. You charge with charger or using pc/laptop? If pc/laptop, of course. Cause the charging is not as strong as using the wall charger..

happy new year dude. although that 'happy' i guess can't apply to you here. sorry to hear that. you didn't use any casing? screen is not covered under warranty. you can read it, it stated there that it doesn't cover cosmetic damages. so it gonna cost you around 500 to 600+. It can reach 700 if you're unlucky. Better send to samsung center if you wanna retain your warranty. but gonna take longer time. fast is 3 days. long would be 7 days. can be longer than that as well, if you're unlucky, depend on stock parts availability.

i just sent mine last friday. also cracked screen, but the touchscreen can still function 100%. still waiting for it to finish. mine costs around 520. hopefully in this week can get it back.

Depend on spare parts. If got spare parts then it usually takes 3 days although it actually can be done within 2 - 3 hours.
If no spare parts..prepare for 1 - 2 weeks ICU.

i'd say thanks to my protective casing. yep cheapo that i got free from buying the phone. but still it protects pretty well, considering the fact that my phone fell from the bike, chest high, while travelling at 30km/h. dropped on my peha first, the straight to tarmac.

after this when you repaired your phone, better get a protective casing. i'm saving money for kraken ams right now. got one supplier here in lyn with awesome price.

that's why casing is also important. it gonna help protect your phone from those accidents. mine for my own stupidity, riding motorcycle yet so busy with navigating around google maps.

sudden death man. search it up on google. apparently for now all the affected galaxy s3 devices are those with this version of mobo.

how does a casing help a phone actually...

as in it gonna protect your phone from physical harm. not completely, but it helps. instead of direct hit to your phone, the casing will receive all the first contact damages. if you prefer the one that looks cool, there are a lot out there. even the leather casing with flip cover also help. for me i'd go for extreme casing, such example is this.

Maxis launched their LTE packages already. This makes our s3 outdated. Feel so sad it doesn't have LTE

Why? The only area supporting 4G from maxis is only in 6 locations so far. Which is TTDI, Damansara Utama, Desa Sri Hartamas, Puchong Jaya, Bandar Sunway and Cyberjaya.. You know why only 6? Because Maxis is not ready yet. They launch it now just for the sake of being the FIRST telco in Malaysia to provide 4G.

and the only phones I know that support Malaysia's LTE band so far is the lumia 920 and 820.. Other phones doesn't support it, and if it makes you feel better when I say this, one of the phones is iPhone5. iphone5's lte modem doesn't support Malaysia's lte band.. So all the iphone 5 owners wont be able to utilize the 4G(unless somehow, malaysia government provide the license for other lte bands)
