Depend on spare parts. If got spare parts then it usually takes 3 days although it actually can be done within 2 - 3 hours.
If no spare parts..prepare for 1 - 2 weeks ICU.

Ampang should be okay for UMobile.

Yup..you have lower chances on getting Sudden Death but your phone have new bootloader. You'll get little red dot if you root your phone. Check on 1st page on how to flash old bootloader.

Go straight to Samsung service centre for any repairs.
Yes..you can still claim warranty for any other repairs provided
1) your first repairs was done by Samsung service centre. If the first repairs was done by un-authorised shop..the whole phone warranty will void.
2) your phone still under warranty period.

NO..nothing was said tbat every S3 Mobo will die. My previous S3 was 6 months old and still running strong before i sold it.
