class 10. i'm using 8gb class 4 kingston, and i can it's freakishly slow. been using it since blackberry so just pop it into my s3. waiting for my sandisk class 10 16gb.

that 32gb will be filled up in no time. seriously, trust me. i used to think like that when i use 2gb microsd back then, then move to 4gb, half free space. later full. 8gb. half free space again. also full. now getting 16gb, will be half free space again.

tbh i don't use better battery stats. i believe in handling my own battery performance. what can i suggest for you to overcome that overnight discharge rate are

- turn off sync
- use power saving mode
- clear any recent apps by holding the home button and select clear
- clear your ram by holding the home button, click on the pie chart icon, select ram tab, then clear memory
- turn off your wifi and mobile data, tell people after midnight can only sms or call beforehand
- don't use auto brightness, turn it off, then put brightness to lowest
- use screen filter to further lower your screen brightness

there, check if discharge rate have any difference in the morning.

if you're rooted or using custom kernel, you can further increase battery performance by downvolting, or you can use tasker which is process or task automation based on specified condition of the phone. but even this one is quite confusing to use, and i don't really fancy having my phone undervolted just for the sake of battery. you know, performance wise.

probably cable problem. go charge with any other usb charger. my samsung cable got prob since day 2. so now charge using original blackberry charger, damn fast charging.

don't know why samsung cable so low in quality. used only for a day, next day test got intermittent problem with connecting as media device. charge still can. using CSL phone usb cable for media connect, and blackberry charger for charging.

you can see what it does through setting. basically it throttle down your cpu frequency to reduce battery usage, throttle down your screen framerate, and two other option that i forgot. you can check it yourself.

i'm using kaspersky mobile security. everytime you downloaded anything from google play or the net and install it, the first it will do is scan that particular app for virus or malware. but the scanning is done so discretely, you didn't even realized it ran until you get the scanning is complete notification. small size, and awesome protection too.

I use dolphin browser, works brilliantly for me. much faster than chrome.

damn, i sent mine last friday in the morning. called to check for it this morning still not done yet. how come yours already done? mine just change cracked lcd. summore the specky girl said got stock so can repair asap.
