yeah.. thanks for the feedback..think i will go digital mall to check out the actual keyboard/mouse/trackpad and decide which one to buy..

good to know that the rapoo and logitech works fine
*
I have the Rii mini non-BT version. I was planning to use it for a HTPC build but anyway, I find that it is suitable for small input tasks like typing your high score save name or maybe short 2-3 word sentence. It feels solid but the tactile feedback is too hard for touch typing, and the small bump where the laser pointer is located won't let it lie flat. I will sand it down to be flush with the rest of the keyboard surface hehe.

wah sei... soon all phones are gonna come out at least 5' screen... Last time i remember right Dell Steak is also 5' big screen but not selling very well until Note 1 came out. So is 5' big screen consider a phablet ? or bigger than 5.3 inch classified as phablet lol? If rumour is true, Note 3 really gonna be big to look diff than others lol..

btw, Xperia Z looks promising.. http://www.gsmarena.com/xperia_z_leaks_aga...n-news-5290.php

Yessss....I did a comparison in v11 or v12 when news of the 6.3" N3 first broke. I showed shots of a ruler vs 7" tablet and N2. Well, looks ok IMO.

Now anybody wants to guess that crapple will come out with a magical stylus for your magical idevice? iWand ™ ???

http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/why-the-drawi...d-app-for-2012/

Skeuomorphism at its best???

The sketch and drawing app, Paper, recently won Apple’s 2012 iPad App of the Year Award, and it is very easy to see why. Even if you’re not an artist but are a true fan of the iPad, you will want to check out the unique, custom user interface of Paper.

There are dozens of drawing apps in the iTunes Store, but Paper is about as near as it gets to an app that resembles an analog paper notebook.

.........
While you can certainly draw and sketch in Paper using your index finger, you will get better results using a stylus pen.

A use case pronounced dead by St Jobs? People are making money off it on his precious ithing, what blasphemy????

Or as the Russian proverb goes, "when money speaks, the truth is silent" ? In this case, it's Jobs' version of the truth though hahaha.

A reboot may fix it. Some have reported that a reboot works.

correct but i went there front on maxis tmn. tun just to test out the 4g but only get H+....
straight to Maxis tmn.tun and they confirm it that, currently LTE is for the wireless modem they are selling, no support on all LTE phone yet till they make enough profit from this marketing strategy.... darn...
not agree. either the pure broadband or the main line bundle with data package is not LTE capable until Maxis further notice....
agreed... 100%  smile.gif
not agreed. read my earlier post at top.
no support on all LTE phone yet till they make enough profit from selling thier wireless 4g modem. is the cruel & reality of marketing strategy.... darn...  mad.gif
me on LTE also but is still the same function only drawback is lack of flash-sable rom from xda  cry.gif
*
This means they are provisioning based on number range of the WBB SIM. Therefore you will not get LTE signal if you are using SIMs not in the number range.

In that case why don't you try with a SIM from the LTE package? If I am correct, this should work. You will get LTE, but probably no voice. smile.gif

There is now a completely no brainer way to root simply by running an apk. Search for exynosabuse on xda note2 forum.

I read on this thread a few version ago people have problems with sandisk card, a lot..I have been using Sandisk for all my sd, but they always have problems. Now my 32GB also have problem and I'm tired of it. Samsung not good one meh?
Well, no matter what the speed advertised, it is still limited by the transfer and file size so I don't have problem with that as long as it performs well on par with the advertised class 10 not sub par like those class 2 or 4.
So, nobody here using sdcard other than sandisk then?
*
You can try Kingston. I have a few 8gb cards from various mfg. Only the Sandisk died hahaha....but I got a Sandisk 64Gb anyway since the others have only up to 32Gb.

So far so good, anecdotally smile.gif

Sandisk does seem touch & go as reported by at least 4-5 forumers here. Even Uncle Benny had his sandisk replaced 3 times.

Mine *touchwood* still ok (2 weeks already) and Solsekuin bought from Amazon is also fine after 2 months I think.

Not dedicated, it is my usual hangout place. Virtually.
Deodexed or Odexed? I thought stock are odexed?
Or I mistaken?
*
Roms can be deodexed by changing some of the parameters and rebuilding. On xda there are stock roms that are rooted and deodexed, or u can just get root only with odex.
Nothing else changes in these cases, so you need to flash your own recovery and kernel if you like.

In my case I am forced to stick to stock due to allshare. Luckily can still flash custom recovery, and we all know that Note2 stock is already awesome and fantastic enough smile.gif

Glad to share.

Just to share also my own process for rom flashing.

Basically I treat the phone as a transient device, so I don't store anything of critical importance. What's important (to me) are the sms and call logs. The apps and all these are restorable, and the only real need is to backup game save data hahhahahahahahah

So:
1. use some automated sms and call log backup app like SMSBackup+
2. Use some app that syncs to your Google Tasks for to-dos
3. obviously sync your contacts to Google or for the truly paranoid use some local sync to PC like MyPhoneExplorer (best damned app in its class and FREE)
4. TiBu for the stuff you can't live without
5. If you are on corporate mail, well, your mail is already on your company server anyway, and downloads to local should go to your PC Outlook and *cough*LotusNotes*coughcoughcoughcough*
6. Nandroid before flash
7. (optional Fullwipe)Flash and restore sms, call logs, Tibu for apps+data
8. Play and see
9. If happy, keep till next new rom arrives smile.gif
10. Not happy? restore nandroid and restore new sms n call logs.

enable root without increasing counter
*
Well did you read the posts at the link? Chainfire's post mentioned that it *may* so some might. Most of the regulars you see here rooted the phone way before this hole was discovered, so we can't tell you if it increases the counter or not, coz ours is already busted.

one question though before I rejoin the dark side. After rooting is there a way to 100% completely unroot and recover to stock so that samsung will not detect it? will reflash stock rom, recovery, triangle away make it completely stock?
*
Again, read the stuff posted by Chainfire on xda.

Cardinal Rule : Root will VOID warranty....period.!
Whatever you do.. service centre technician have a way to trace any rooting or illegal flashing. Only thing is..they seldom use this on rooted user so mostly everything went without problems.
But be prepared for any rejection as they have every right to void the warranty. rclxms.gif

Oh really ah? That's very scary....then how to safely root? hmm.gif

bro dont have to be so harsh, i've been reading most of CF post and he did not say anything about what voids and not voids warranty, just mention that triangle away can reset counter to 0, and status to normal bla bla bla. Whether or not even if u restore those to stock and able to clear warranty is not stated. I post in lyn to get feedback from msia users, and if you cant be of help then dont have to reply, instead of assuming others dont read and seeking to be spoonfed.
thanks bro for the answer.
*
Brader...you asked the same question in 24 hours, so I asked if you did any reading. Ok forgive the outburst since night shift makes me cranky.

Anyway, if you had read the Triangle away posts, Chainfire stated that there is a secret counter that Samsung can still detect....AND as always all throughout XDA the disclaimer is posted that ROOTING VOIDS WARRANTY even in matsalleh land.....

Yes waveweaver is correct. There have been cases of phones rooted out of the box or by casual users who never did anything but it still shows rooted. Nobody knows the cause.
