You can do whatever you want with your phone after it's rooted.

No point la bro , just increased memory size which can be solved with int2ext swap
*
Or actually GLtoSD that works without needing to swap stuff around. Did that with my games. Misleading name though as "GL" was supposed to stand for GameLoft.

hi all,

at the screen of my note 2, the top side, there is a lot of icons like similar to play button... may i know what are those? there's easily like 4 or 5 of the same icons... then i also have the facebook icon..and on the right side the usual wifi icon and battery bar etc...

thanks!

the samsung manual is not complete, doesn't explain the total icons...
*
Pull down the notification bar you will see it is an update notification for all the apps for which there are updates.

thanks for the referall bro, appreciate it. anyway, is my problem common? the faulty microsd.
*
You mean faulty micro-usb port.

microsd is a storage card.

Those who report problems state it feels loose. I think one guy had a problem with charging and went for warranty claim. If yours is an SME set, send it to SC.

I bought during Black Friday at Amazon last time, RM129 for 64GB Sandisk Micro SD card.
Plus another RM30 for shipping, still cheap. Shipped it with other stuff too. Now regretted didn't get extra sweat.gif

Just to share, my battery usage:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Almost 27hrs usage with 6hrs+ on screen time rclxms.gif
*
Wah very good. Want to share all, I discovered that you can use the Better Battery Stats widget to show all these stats at a glance with the 2x2 widget. In fact, anyone with BBS just needs to show the Other dropdown with the filter Since Unplugged and it will all the same information as all the screens that Solsekuin has been showing.

All in one reporting !!!

This is the free version the dev posted on XDA. Same features.

@Cikgu,

BTW the other widget with the graphs, it's Battery Monitor Widget. I bought the Pro ver last week during sale. There's also free one available but ad supported, don't know if the widgets can show as much info.

Thank you very much for your recommendation. Will do that and keep you posted. At meantime, Thank You.
Welcome to the club, I jumped from iPhone to Note II too. The people here are very helpful, just make sure you have done your homework before asking haha.
*
Hahaha good advice to the new joiners.

Anyway, I suppose you could try connecting the phone to the pc and browse from there, enable view hidden files? Your default file manager cannot see hidden files.

Try Ghost Commander or Solid Explorer.

Now this is weird. Using Storage Analyzer, it shows that I have 7gb of free storage but when I click on my internal SD, it shows 5.8gb only.
*
File table corrupted. You have no choice but to format internal SD. Whatsapp has a backup feature, and you can use MyPhoneExplorer to back up all calls and sms or use SMSBackup+

Oh man, I guess that I don't have a choice then. Usually what it causes this to happen? Sorry for asking a noob question but how do I format internal SD?  tongue.gif
*
Settings>Storage>Format SD Card

Before you do that, use Ghost Commander and enable hidden files and check in your DCIM folder, or every folder if you want to. If you can't find your missing stuff, time for a format.

Bro want to check ya, since you have a Samsung Allshare TV.

Both I and Fallenangelz have reported success with the allshare dongle, and movies and static pics play fine. However games suck with lots of glitching.

How is the situation with your TV since it has built in allshare?

guys anyone here experience 'factory mode' before? i'm stuck with this now.
all my imei, s/n, baseband all show unkown
*
THAT IS SERIOUS....looks like the phone went totally blank...did you do any flashing of N7105 roms?

If you cannot see your IMEI and S/N this means that your EFS directory kaput. Maybe try to boot to download mode and restore your eFS folder (you did backup rite) then do a nandroid restore (you did backup rite)

Don;t think anyone here has encountered this before.

All sifus here, does nandroid backup can only be done using/with cwm available? Mine rooted with exynos, still got no cwm...
*
you need to flash a custom recovery. Check out dr.ketan's posts on xda he is very informative. Mobile Odin should do the trick using tar.md5 files. I'm using Philztouch 3.81 flashed via that method.

Bro, yours looks like a visit to the SC, and take waveweaver's advice smile.gif

Next time, you can flash in a custom recovery first after rooting so you can make nandroid backup. If at all you can access your app drawer and playstore, then try installing mobile odin free and flash in a recovery first. Use the tar.md5 file ok, so far I've seen Philztouch provide this, CWM I haven't seen Kalshaga providing one.
