I know this isn't "new" news, but:
http://www.soyacincau.com/2013/01/01/maxis...-to-launch-lte/ ... The service is available with any of Maxis existing data plans starting from RM88/month. Existing subscribers can also upgrade their current Maxis 3G modem to an LTE modem for a fee.... So it's so fast that you will slurp up your allocation faster, and so you need to pay more to get more....capitalism at its best!!! |

QUOTE(edwinlcw @ Jan 2 2013, 05:26 PM) LG Nexus 4 LTE is not officially approved, it is enabled only via some firmware hack IINM. Adventures of the Allshare Cast Dongle:
Flashed Custom Recovery Philz http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2028103 My Allshare is working after Triangle Away. Will stick on it to see how long it stays on. UPDATE: Seems that after every reboot, Triangle away is needed otherwise counter >0 will cause the allshare connection to fail. This post has been edited by joytest: Jan 2 2013, 07:08 PM |

QUOTE(Cynox @ Jan 2 2013, 08:03 PM) Still need stock ROM, right? If custom ROM with Philz recovery can work then will be perfect. Triangle Away after every reboot is acceptable. I'm flashing back stock LL5 from i9000 after trying fullwipe with Phoenix rom again. I guess it checks if your Kernel is stock or not...Using Odin, I'm flashing but keeping my Philz recovery and see how that goes. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 2 2013, 09:11 PM) OK downloading Monx XXDLL5 now, 3 mins to finish and also Turkey stock ROM. God bless me this time. Else, I really should go back to stock ROM. Forced to go back to stock rom as I want to play with my new toy (Allshare dongle)... and coz this thing is not widely available yet, there are no hackers for this yet either. |

QUOTE(arslow @ Jan 2 2013, 11:03 PM) Look at how awesome these apps could have looked like if they follow the Android Design Guidelines!! hi arslow, are you making any customization of your stock LJ3 rom (from yr sig) by removing stuff ? I'm asking coz I have to revert to a stock rom (via deodex) to make my allshare dongle work. So would like to hear your experience customizing your rom (removing bloat etc).http://holothere.tumblr.com/ so beautiful that I can cry edi |

QUOTE(GHOSTVIC @ Jan 2 2013, 11:39 PM) TELCO already start selling LTE version of NOTE 2 N7105 or still selling N7100 ? any idea guys ? Telcos need to validate handsets they sell here, some kind of internal Sirim process. If they don't validate it and problems happen, the handset manufacturer gets blamed and/or the telco gets a bad rep for poor quality. So, I think Maxis has only verified those few models that they are offering LTE now. More to come will need to wait.since past few months not stock everywhere, so just wondering new stocks is it LTE version... |

Final chapter in the Chronicles of The Allshare Dongle:
1. You need stock rom (can be rooted and deodexed) 2. You need Triangle Away to set counter to 0 and status to Official 3. You can flash a custom RECOVERY (Philztouch successful) 4. You CANNOT flash a custom kernel. Looks like it detects AND 2 conditions: Your counter is zero, and your kernel is stock. I conjecture it has to do with securing the allshare transmission stream due to DRM... |

In a nutshell, you're provided with a tool that converts Windows executable files into code that Android understands and an application to run that code with. Sounds awesome, doesn't it?... QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 3 2013, 02:16 AM) For those on monx XXDLL5, is that normal in Baseband version still shows XXDLK7 despite I have already wipe clean and flashed to stock ROM XXDLL5? I think that's the default stock xll5 radio version? Mine's the same.Haha looks like we are both going the same ROM route but for totally different reasons. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 3 2013, 02:37 AM) OK, I thought I accidentally flashed the wrong file. Woohoo....success !!!! Typed using my bluetooth keyboard and looks like 4.1.2 solved the BT kbd sleep-disconnect problem where you had to perform a reconnect when the kbd went to sleep.Oh monx's keyboard comes with symbols right? I love that. Subsymbol keyboard modded manually. Now to add more CSC features. |

Anyway GL to SD probably might work without need of init.d@Cynox, try GL to SD and see if it works ? |
