hello, to all sifu. Got my city during CNY-13 and just done 5K service last weekend. i m using semi-synthetic 5w30 oil, after change i feel that the car engine respond abit slow compare before service. Do u guys experience the same thing or must go for the 0w20 oil to get back the respond?

also, to install this wing type trunk spoiler must drill hole? anyone install this outside can share your experience?

I installed mine at Honda, they drill holes to screw the spoiler. I can take photo later if you want.

Don't worry, as long not high rpm for prolong periods. Varying RPM is good during breakin, but just don't redline.
Need or not is subjective, it depends on what you expect from the car.

Thnx for the info calvin. Feels relaxed now.

Anyway, anyone can advise me good SC nearby kl and sel?
Except : Kah motor puchong, HNZ, and peringgit

many thnx

Just did my 20k services few days ago.. around RM320++ at GA Sri Kembangan (I'm sure you went to GA as well). Make sure you told them to remove all 'optional' extra they added in. They added an extra RM100 for cleaning the front windscreen with some special cleaner to clean the water mark ect. shakehead.gif

Did mine too, yesterday 20K svc, but kena burn RM433.00. Change EO Semi-Syn, O.Filter, A.Filter and ATF (3x1L), washer drain/plug (2pcs) and labour charges alone RM133.00. Expected like yours from maintenance schedule, but otherwise. Anyway, what did they change for you and how much LC they charge you. Do share pls.

need to be really careful with Honda SC now. I think because of the new alternating Free service, they lose a lot of income.

Btw, I'm considering to improve my City's NVH. Is this one a good starting point? http://www.groupon.my/deals/klang-valley-k..._94&a=715827975

I didn't change my Air Filter yet, maybe that explain yours is a bit higher than mine. I'm going to swap mine with K&N soon. I'll try and get the receipt when I can.

The new alternating Free Service is not really alternating. They choose which interval got cheap labour cost then they give free. Its not Paid, Free, Paid, Free, Paid, Free.. more like Free, Paid, Paid, Free (cheap labour cost), Paid, Paid, Free (cheap oso), Paid..

You're linking to a Pork Burger mate. Haha.

I use the cheapest Semi that they have. I would use Mineral if I could since the 5k service interval doh.gif

Thanks for sharing and coming back to the topic of,

"I use the cheapest Semi that they have. I would use Mineral if I could since the 5k service interval",

I like to get confirmation from all engine oil sifus as to whether in a SEALED NEW engine oil container (any brand be it mineral, semi-synthetic or fully synthetic) will there be ANY TRACES of dirty minute particles or very minute carbon black like dirt at the base of the container after pouring out the contents? Pls do share your findings. TQ.

I think the price is around Rm200 for our car, not sure current price. It will technically last forever if you keep cleaning the filter. They will always use fully by default, tell them to use the cheapest semi or slightly expensive semi, and remove anything extra (fuel cleaner, windscreen washer and all that crap)

This is how it look on mine, I don't really mind the screw since I rarely see it anyway. You can paint the screw if you want it to match the car. Haha.

Hehe, well there's no choice. They have to drill the holes since the spoiler is heavy and it needs the brake light wiring.

Sacrifice must be made for the sake of beauty. biggrin.gif

Yes, bro. Saw that a few times at few different accessories shop before, it comes with standard size and they will cut it to fit your bumper.

Something like this.
