hi guys.. i just did autofoam to my 09 NHC last monday and i would said it does help on the NVH reduction (depends on wut package that u take). Besides this, the foam does help to improve the car handling significantly. now i'm find my car is more fun to drive and i can take those steep corner with more confidence. Remember, the autofoam doesn't only reduces the NVH of your car. It also helps to stiffen your car chasis and it makes u feel lesser body roll when ur taking corners..

overall i would said the money spent in KL Auto is worth every penny and do give Desmond a call and tell him what u want for your car and he'll suggest a good solution for u.

i'm not advertising for Desmond here but just my honest comparison before and after i did the Auto Foam to my City.

cheers..

Haha one day... one day I shall replace the HU with after market one.. tongue.gif

I wonder who produce the HU for Honda OEM. I know the regular one is from Mitsu, what about the one with the DVD/In Dash nav?

After a while you will start to hear road noise more obvious. It's a never ending battle when it comes to NVH with our car.. tongue.gif

But on the handling side, yeah I do agree. Less body roll and can take corner faster. biggrin.gif

I think if we soundproof the wheel arch it should be enough already (after autofoam)..

u'll be surprise when Desmond tells u where does the sound actually comes from.... haha.. he actually don recommend to do sound proof to your wheel arc prior to some other sound proofing areas to be done.. u'll suffer more noise than before if you are doing it on the wheel arc first..

To be honest, I don't fee much different after doing the boot and hood.. huhu. Very little improvement I guess, or maybe my expectation is a bit higher.

anyone saw this?

all new models is on the 10k service interval

http://www.honda.com.my/model/newservicepackage/city/

i am gonna change to fully synthetic next time around and move the service interval to 10k ...

warranty over edy ... else do outside ... way way cheaper ...

but i like the preventive maintenance they do, they check a lot of stuff ...

60k km service coming up ... running at 58k now

Eh 1.5k for soundproofing the boot lid? I think when I did mine only cost 500 or so.. haha. Maybe diff material, the one they did for mine is quite minimal. Probably why didn't see feel much different.

Does your callmen tell you why it will void insurance claim?

This has been discussed few pages back, the new City does not have this 10k interval. Only the new Civic and CRV. Unless SC specifically told you otherwise.. huhu.

The Honda site is confusing, even Honda Malaysia Facebook said the new City got 10k service interval.. really rclxub.gif

The issue was discussed even in the previous version of this thread ... in Singapore(all model) there is a 10k service interval schedule .... they use full syn and that will last u 10k km

malaysia only do 5k, regardless what oil u use...

so now they are allowing other cars, so why not city too ... hmm they just want to milk us dry la

Hi bro, the weird sound that you talking about, is it the clunking sound? It will be heard when you go over humps and also when you turn the steering in low speed? I experienced the same thing sad.gif
