Had another run through the weekends. Driving work+ going back hometown+ jalan jalan+ back to shah alam. Avg 18.3km/l . it's doable with control footing , and off course traffic too

Wat type engine oil that u using? Semi or fully? Mineral?

i drive this car about 4 years plus, maximum i can go also 450km until the range become 0. how u all manage to achieve 500++ by the way i am all the time fully syn and light footer

I own a honda city which i bought last year.
I read the manual and saw it can set for auto lock door after it sense your car is moving at 15kmph. Does any honda city owner able to set this?

u are not alone.. mine already 3 yrs plus.. never go above 450km per tank but im moderate footer, not light.. haaa!

mine is from 2010, more or less bout 4 years ... when the light comes on its always about 400km on the meter ... if i drive some more likely can get another 50km, but i never push it

when the lights come on, and i pump - its about 30 plus litres, the tank capacity is 42L so give or take should still have bout 10L in there ... and thats bout 100km with the heaviest foot

Went for 5k service this morning, opt for Premium package.. cost me RM157.60

Labor = Free
Fully sync oil = RM120.4 (-20%)
Oil filter cartridge = RM26.08
Engine oil treatment = RM49
Washer Drain 14mm = RM2.10

Total = RM197.58 (-RM40 eService voucher) = RM157.60

I wonder is it a must to get engine oil treatment?

Semi & always used Petron only. Mostly used along LDP (jam half of the time & another half is free flow).

Maybe your drive is always or almost 100% city drive & jam all the time.

bro u using which type of fully oil ?

a) SL 5W-40

or

b) SM 0W-20

Honda website updated and it seem our City die die must stick to 5K interval service !!!! what a sad info !!!! only happen in Malaysia but singapore, Inda, Thailand and Philippine is 10K service interval

Yeah, they claimed the oil filter can't be used more than 5k. Haha. And all new City got 5 years warranty with unlimited miliage, means more money to them since we can't service outside unless you want to void the warranty. Smart eh

there is no need to use engine oil treatment as for me it is useless as your engine is still very new and given to that, as long you change your oil on time, your engine will last you very long where i don't foresee a reason to use those extra treatment sold/recommend by mechanic... bear in mind engine oil itself do contain additives that will protect & cleans your engine while running. It is a simple way for them to earn your money.

Done for first service today, and the next service will be 5000km/3 months.

Yup! Plus this month, which mean ur next service is on March 15 or 5k milleage which comes 1st.
