QUOTE(ashwin988 @ Jan 2 2013, 08:07 PM) actually heard alot of good reviews for the 820, but the thing is .. you can purchase the 920 for just 400 bucks more... I don't know.. the 920's camera makes up for that 400 for me I guess. the reason why i got this phone is also quite P&Cbut yes i will be doing a review on this phone.. i will probably upload it into a blog or something.. i need a medium to do so so that i can educate u guys on 820.. =D btw.. thumbs up for TS for updating me into the list so fast.. LOL and err.. 820 comes with changeable cover so.. i can change my cover from time to time.. not necessary black.. >.< This post has been edited by jonjack88: Jan 2 2013, 08:42 PM |

yup.. i always keep an eye on wp thread every 15min!!! if i misses some1 please pm me
although i like the slick design of 8x, man.. 4.3" is kindda small battery life : 830am full > 830pm (15% remain) data connection on 24hr, 20text messages, 10 songs with bluetooth headset, checking on wp thread every 15min ~ 20min while i was outside, if compare to titan 830pm still have 30% of battery. |

my 920 today: - 50+ calls average 1m/call - 10+ SMSes - 3G on all the time - email sync every 30 mins - BT always on - wifi off - total around 1 hour check twitter/fb - some IE surfing 8.00am to 7.00pm 11% battery left. much better than my previous 4s |

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Jan 2 2013, 09:41 PM) ATIV S might be a good alternative, but I'm just worried because it's Samsung. There are bloating issue everywhere when you use it for a long time. Android at least. well, my minimum requirement screen is 4.7 ~ 4.8" , i dont like 5" phone. L920 i've get a hold on the test devices, screen brightness are really sharp compare to 8x. let's wait for Samsung ATIVS then only decide. Why not Lumia 920? ATIV S Key features: 8MP Front-Facing Camera, 1.9MP Rear-Facing Camera, 4.8" HD Super AMOLED Display, Dual Core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4, 1GB of RAM, 16GB / 32GB of internal storage with expandable microSD slot, 2300 mAh battery, NFC. |

QUOTE(rockpoper @ Jan 2 2013, 10:44 PM) Cheapest would be U Mobile for just RM28 per month. (The one I know at least)Prepaid as well just topup RM30 each month and subscribe to the internet plan with the * dial number. I don't use it but a lot of my friends use it and it seems they are quite satisfied. I'm using iValue 1 btw. Which is RM100 each month. |

QUOTE(evilpuppy @ Dec 31 2012, 01:11 AM) I'm using drag m drop to my music folder,i can do delete single songs from songs hubs but not whole folder from album hubs. How bout others that use window desktop apps??? Can you all delete the whole album? I tried the above with my L920, transfer the music via the Windows Phone app on Windows 8 PC and it will automatically create the Artist Folder and Album Folder (this is inside the Artist Folder)... then go over to the L920 Music hub, you can only have Delete function on the Song and not the Album itself... If I delete the song either from the L920 phone itself or the Windows Phone app on desktop, I noticed that the Artist folder (this folder has no song coz I just deleted it) still remains on the phone when view using Windows Explorer... however the Artist folder is not visible on the L920 music hub nor the Windows Phone app when view what's on the phone... I normally just goes to the Windows Explorer and delete off those empty Artist folder... reason for me to have those empty folder is because of all my Chinese songs having East Asian characters which I need to ensure all are intact when transferred into the L920 this is somehow what I noticed so far on the Music transfer on WP8 and Windows 8 ** Btw, Skype has a new update on Marketplace... Added on January 3, 2013, 7:32 am QUOTE(jonjack88 @ Jan 2 2013, 11:47 PM) you can but not directly... screen capture your phone using the shortcut key (power key + windows logo key) that comes with WP8 which will then saved into your pictures folder name screenshot... go into Whatsapp and click attach function to attach the screenshot that was saved inside the screenshot folder...This post has been edited by -ahtiang-: Jan 3 2013, 07:34 AM |
