actually heard alot of good reviews for the 820, but the thing is .. you can purchase the 920 for just 400 bucks more... I don't know.. the 920's camera makes up for that 400 for me I guess.

the reason why i got this phone is also quite P&C
but yes i will be doing a review on this phone..
i will probably upload it into a blog or something.. i need a medium to do so so that i can educate u guys on 820..

although i like the slick design of 8x, man.. 4.3" is kindda small always hitting error on the keyboard perhaps i should let this 8x for my wife.. and grab ATIV S?

battery life : 830am full > 830pm (15% remain) data connection on 24hr, 20text messages, 10 songs with bluetooth headset, checking on wp thread every 15min ~ 20min while i was outside, if compare to titan 830pm still have 30% of battery.

- 50+ calls average 1m/call
- 10+ SMSes
- 3G on all the time
- email sync every 30 mins
- BT always on
- wifi off
- total around 1 hour check twitter/fb
- some IE surfing

8.00am to 7.00pm 11% battery left. much better than my previous 4s

ATIV S might be a good alternative, but I'm just worried because it's Samsung. There are bloating issue everywhere when you use it for a long time. Android at least.

so, i believe with above average usage , battery die at 9pm is acceptable for all smartphone. if battery saver on can still tahan till 11pm.

well, my minimum requirement screen is 4.7 ~ 4.8" , i dont like 5" phone. L920 i've get a hold on the test devices, screen brightness are really sharp compare to 8x. let's wait for Samsung ATIVS then only decide.

i am using DiGi i138 which is from from my old iphone 4. 2 year contract ended but they extended for me another year without needing to buy a phone. every month pay 88 only with auto debit. The link below is for iphone 5 but its the same package i took 2 years ago.

Ok thanks. So, Tango is available. This simply means my migration to WP8 is imminent.

I tried the above with my L920, transfer the music via the Windows Phone app on Windows 8 PC and it will automatically create the Artist Folder and Album Folder (this is inside the Artist Folder)... then go over to the L920 Music hub, you can only have Delete function on the Song and not the Album itself...

If I delete the song either from the L920 phone itself or the Windows Phone app on desktop, I noticed that the Artist folder (this folder has no song coz I just deleted it) still remains on the phone when view using Windows Explorer... however the Artist folder is not visible on the L920 music hub nor the Windows Phone app when view what's on the phone...

I normally just goes to the Windows Explorer and delete off those empty Artist folder... reason for me to have those empty folder is because of all my Chinese songs having East Asian characters which I need to ensure all are intact when transferred into the L920

this is somehow what I noticed so far on the Music transfer on WP8 and Windows 8

Added on January 3, 2013, 7:32 amyou can but not directly... screen capture your phone using the shortcut key (power key + windows logo key) that comes with WP8 which will then saved into your pictures folder name screenshot... go into Whatsapp and click attach function to attach the screenshot that was saved inside the screenshot folder...

not that i don't want to believe, but

normal list when choosing share from camera roll/saved pictures

slightly less list when choosing share from screenshot folder

i dunno if i'm the only one who have this problem or it is general problem among us....
heck, when i tested to directly attach pics from screenshot folder on whatsapp, it failed

just take screenshot then go to photos and share it

there is whatsapp selection if u directly go to photos and press share




Update: oops ..i think it's more on the file format in the picture ...as screenshot is taken using png format instead of jpg

i just tried change the screenshot from png to jpg using paint ..then save it back to screenshot folder ..it works

make it short ...whatsapp doesnt support png format or doesnt recognize png as a picture
