2. Do we need to pay extra charge for upgrade to platinum if we are qualified for platinum in the future?
*
You would need to pay the RM50 GST for an upgrade to Platinum as it is considered a new card. Time your upgrade request just before the anniversary of your gold card so that you only need to pay it once.

Guys, excuse me if this have been answered before, I just want quick info:

1. Application for gold/platinum status is it based on nett pay (monthly salary after deductions of epf, tax) or pay before deductions? I applied for platinum but got gold instead. My salary before deductions is exceeding 60k per annum but if after deductions, my salary is below 60k per annum.

2. Do we need to pay extra charge for upgrade to platinum if we are qualified for platinum in the future?
*
1. Gross annual income.

These transacations are done by hackers with CC generators + CVV generators.
It's not the cardholder not being careful
We are in Malaysia, even exposing the CVV code to the cashiers... how do you explain Facebook Ireland have your details ?

Can we disable ALL Internet transactions with Maybankard AMEX ???
*
Wow...any article or news that can support that? If that's the case, I am wondering why most of the Maybankard AMEX holders were affected by this, and can it be a syndicate (maybe insider or retail workers) that are selling this kind of information..

If i remember correctly, initially mbb didnt allow online transaction (or they only allow it on request which we need to call them if we want to use it online) on their amex due to the lack of security of the card..but since a lot of people request for it, it is now available
The thing about m2card amex is the benefit of using it is so huge that most of us practically left the visa or mc at home while bringing only the amex..at least it happens to me..been using it since it was launch via invitation and my treatpoints is a lot because of that

I think it is a common issue on the last week of every month, most of the companies and government workers get their salary within this week, so the load is higher than usual. This is what I can see from my observation.

Glad to know that I'm not the only one who did not receive my e-statement this month. A good reminder for me to be aware of my bills due date.

Yup. I noticed that I still get the 15% cash back for spendings up to 20 Dec 2012.

Shouldn't be affecting your cash back cos the change of card is not due to your fault. If you don't receive your cash back, give Amex CS a call.

MBB seldom does signing up promo.

Maybe the RM 10 voucher thingy. I can't remember.
