i) if u ask any of us here, we sure tell u, get sony flash, dont spend money on 3rd party, few  month later u get tired of the inconsistency and damn troublesome to use, eventually u will come back here and ask... "where to get the cheapest F43?".... just skip to F43. save the troublesome journey.

ii) macro 1:1 just MF to the max 1:1 then adjust ur camera distance until subject is in focus.
actually, most macro shooter dont exactly shoot at 1:1, most of use shoot at desire "DOF"...

steve88, zstam, mastering89: there is a overwrite setting inside the flash, where it allows manual flash in PAS mode. usually its disable and auto goes back to TTL/ADI when detected the camera is on PAS mode.

Directly get f58am. Its so lovely and powerful. No point go through f43 unless really budget constrain. 

I realize about that too. But tokina won't work on full frame if I upgrade

even thought f43 design little bit change compare to conventional flash gun. but the flash head still enough space to hold your diy BD lol...

2) Need sifu to teach how to use SP 90 1:1 macro shooting....I getting lost focus when i turn to 1:1 macro, unless i get closer to subject, how to shooting 1:1 when far to subject? tq all sifu in advance

i thought f43 got smaller minimum output compare to f58, some say is better

Yes, the F43 can go down to 1/128th of full power, whereas F58 can only go down to 1/32th, hence better. If you're going for outright raw power, then obviously the f58 is better, in fact, now it's the f60 that took the lead.
