Regarding the butterfly effect, from prime92 videos, it's a clear transparent part, but from your pics, it's in pink. Care to verify this?
Anyway, nice kit you have there. You did mentioned painting some parts in metallic, care to take some up-closed pics? Good job btw thumbup.gif

Haha I just a newbie and I only do handpaint due to living in apartment and no money to buy the spray boot etc.
So please pardon my painting skill.. Yes the butterfly is in transparent.
tI bet alot of bros here can do a better job.. Many of those pink pattern in her body need
to be painted to look nice and the pipe i just used a metallic permanent marker to detail up.. I throw in a HG
kit for u to see the size different.. to me it look more like a MG kit in term of size. biggrin.gif

i try to as close as possible since i'm using only a iphone 4 to take pictures..

My minor feedback of the kit.. U may not encounter the same problem
1. Back heavy, can't stand on its own
2. after putting it in the stand it can't fit into my cabinet. (U may not have the same problem tongue.gif)
3. The shoulder tend to drop off easily, takes awhile to position it into the right place..

As it may be only my kit I hope some bros here may make a move to fix one up so maybe I can verify if
it is only my kit or most of the kit have the same problem.

seems like the brand for the plastic conversion kit for MG Ex-S is Lemis
priced roughly Rm90

RC MG Gerbera Tetra readjusted price to China RMB170 blink.gif

Just came back from the shop in near digital mall Section 14. GHD PG Aile Strike is RM 299.90. There's MG hi-nu, MG Strike Rouge, and some HGs there as well. Was in a rush, so I didn't really check the prices. Can't find the previous post with the map, so I apologize if this has been posted before.

latest completed kit, daban's stark jegan and geara zulu.. extremely happy with both of them (as am i with most of unicorn series' HGs)
both were very fun, and my only gripe is that they still use a ball joint for the hip instead of the 2 peg joint like in 00 HGs.. however they're still really posable and i'm very happy with them

while both are very solid kits, if in playability, geara zulu wins over the jegan due to it not having so much clutter and parts peg in more solidly.. the stark jegan's lower leg armor don't hold together very well.. they WILL stay there, however when you move it around, they tend to slide around a bit.. which makes it uncomfortable to pose

i found it pretty hilarious that the grenade launcher attachment for his rifle makes a pretty convincing handgun

so as a conclusion, both are very much worth picking up, but geara zulu is overall more fun to play with laugh.gif

don't overlook the jegan either, it's a pretty impressive kit tongue.gif i think you could make the normal jegan with that as well, since they provide both head parts

Congratulations to the winners of the group build! Good effort by everyone, I hope I can participate in the next event!

Any pictures yet of the EXS upgrade kit? I was planning on modifying my EXS to resemble G Systems, but if there is an upgrade kit that looks nice then I can just use that instead!

Mr Color GX 212 - GX Metal Peach

My paint all all from the GX metal series
Pink I used metal peach
Blue I used metal light blue
And a cheap metallic silver to paint over some detail and pipes.
Easy don't need mix of paint and mimimum painting.. U can do it in few hours.
Show ur qubeley once it completed rclxms.gif

Hello guys this is my first time posting on this thread so forgive me if i sound a bit naive here haha.

Got a question do you guys find kits from model GD to be on par with kits from other 3rd party company such as gao gao, daban and dragon momoko? Cuz i've found this kit
MSZ-006-3 the one Amuro used while with Karaba nickname White Unicorn, and currently this was the only 3rd company model that i've found that released this particular model.

What do you guys think?

my advice, STAY AWAY from model GD.. unless you are confident enough as a modeller to tackle their problems.. joints will be loose and floppy, parts will not snap together properly.. molding is very very bad and you can always see excess plastic on the molding.. details will be lost in their horrible molding..

however, i know the Zeta is very rare when it comes to original.. i myself am tempted to try, but even after experiencing most of the bootleg models, i still have second thoughts about trying Model GD.. i have a HG Gaia and it is a horrible mess..

in any case, my advice is stay away.. but if you're confident and feel up to the challenge, i think it is something u will be very proud of if u manage to work through all the problems and complete the kit.. but be prepared to spend a lot of quality time with it

haha, i know how u feel.. i REAAAALLLY want this model as well but originals can cost an upwards of RM300-400.. which is INSANE.. i might just get one original normal color to repaint myself.. that's just how bad model GD is sweat.gif
