That's the disadvantage of HLJ. However, they are the most forgiving when it comes to cancelling orders. Amiami and Hobby Search are quick with the banhammer if you have to cancel something without a very good reason.

most forgiving?
hehe...perhaps.
but i rather believe they are just too inefficient/lazy to layan orders cancellation smile.gif

As for Mandarake, not all their stores are equal. Nakano is definitely the best store of them all, hands down. Fastest response, helpful staff, quick processing and delivery. Complex (Akihabara), Grandchaos and Umeda are decent as well but you should expect to wait 2-3 days for order confirmation. Be a bit careful with Fukuoka though, they aren't the most fluent in English so be wary of miscommunication.

thanks very much for these information! thumbup.gif

want to ask normally at mandrake it stated the item is open box only and so is the figure in good condition? want to buy 1 figure from them which is quite cheap.

THanks

You shouldn't have anything to worry about unless the item description mentions things like 'parts stained' or 'loose joints'. Anyway Japanese collectors usually take good care of their stuff but there still might be cases where figures have issues like smudges, damaged paint/decals that might have escaped the attention of Mandarake staff.

I started off with HLJ but stopped buying from them for years after I found out AmiAmi.

AmiAmi didn't ban me yet but I did receive a warning letter of some sort regarding abandoned POs.
*
umm, amiami got new system.
now the system will auto cancel and put back the item for sale if you didn't pay in 7 days

no more warning letters

Auto cancellation of the orders you did not pay for within the time given might still get you banned. It's no different from having them send you an email to notify you've been banned. There's no way you actually think you can just order a couple of times and not pay for a single one until time is up just to be let off completely scot-free?

Yup, PO first, think later. If buyer's remorse creeps in, just sell off at Garage Sales at PO price. No loss. biggrin.gif
