That is ugly for me. How to have a round and white equipment fit into my other audio visual equipments? It will totally alien to the other equipments. Black would be a bit better rclxub.gif

I don't think it's ugly, looks stylish, IMHO those black basic Amp or dvd players looks ugly..

wow, u guys have lots of cool stuff going on.. making me itchy wanna start mine.. but i dun hav astro, will it be d same? since main purpose of my HTPC is like watching downloaded shows..so tat i wont need 2 convert all 2 DVD playable format..

Hi all.

I found out, since the birth (or death) of Windows XP MCE, HTPC has become relatively popular. Manufacturers like Gigabyte and other have many, if not some, good looking HTPCs.

So, I was wondering, do you guys have a HTPC and what are the specs? I may consider getting one myself, but my budget is such a concern. So lets all start discussing. Thanks. icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif

got it from vrzone garage last time SGD 600
with the proc..

haha..that is not cheap for a HTPC case. I guess that spending a bomb is need to get that AV look.

hey last time somebody here in lyn also was selling in think LC04 pretty cheap..
second hand of course..

also the proc value that time is way more expensive now..
this is the 90nm version not 65nm..
temps are still cool so didnt bother..

anyway, I did saw a good looking Enlight casing. Only RM180 at ATE. Not sure whether can fit the GC and LGA775 HSF.

hmm eh i just checked online to see latest price..

LC03 without psu ( mine came with some 300watt psu)

is now retailing at USD 120-150..

What is the most important component to setup a HTPC? I m thinking to setup one and in the middle of surveying and comparing the component. So I can stay between my budget.
