Celcom like so evil, i thought it's just hearsay but it's true.

While i was hotspoting, my internet connection halted and all the sudden i received sms from 2888 (celcom) that my data usage already 100% please send broadband vol to 22188 to top up.

Attached Image Attached Image

OMG, this is the worst even for the additional 1GB top up is free, to be disconnected like that is so annoying. Have to wait at least 2 minutes after you hv done with the top up procedure.

Dang. What happen to "slowing down the speed when reached 100% usage and speed back to normal after the top up policy"?

I think they changed that policy with the First plan. They will just stop data now, no more slowing down. I guess now we got proof its true.

Yes u're right. No more speed throttling. But i'm suprised they cut off @chokia's connection so fast.

In my case, i'm using old plan & used with the outright ip5. So far, already reach my 3GB Data Volume for the mAdvance plan. Maybe this plan still use throttling policy.

They've put that kind of policy since Oct last year (I was on other plan btw). It's still ok la for them to take this long before enforcing it.

In Penang speed for both Maxis and Celcom is around 7Mbps so it's fair.

Just wanna share my iPhone 5 RMA experience with Celcom.

Less than a month of using my phone, it suddenly kept crashing/restarting.
So I sent it to Blue Cube Bangsar on 8 Feb for RMA, was told it will take at least 14 working days... yet I received my replacement unit today. Took me by surprise, considering the CNY holidays. rclxms.gif

Hi, want to ask. Say if my phone need to send warranty for a month or so, will Celcom charge bill on us that particular month?

Or will there be any rebate on this?

TQ

Of course they will charge. No reason they should give u rebate as u still can use the line on another phone.
