Nope, only if for smartphone rebate package, you can buy with celcom prepaid.

Just buy 1 celcom prepaid RM 8.50 + top up RM 30, then you can buy iPhone 5 with RM 2,199 - RM 200 rebate.

So total cost RM 2,037.50

This is what I've been told by Celcom branch staff when I signed up for my postpaid iPhone 5 plan, cause I asked whether can buy another set outright, he told me only offer for smartphone rebate package, otherwise not possible.

Actually can buy outright, just need to buy Celcom prepaid together.
My friend bought one when I sign the iPhone 5 plan.

From this story I saw Celcom has no systematic...

Anyway, do you encounter connection problem including 3G load slow or not load at all although on 3G networks ?

I in Kelantan here suffered a lot, I called customer support, they told me Thailand telco tower frequency disturbed here Kelantan area... WTS... Why not Perlis, Kedah and Perak also get disturbed... vmad.gif

Errr...that sounds strange. Why Digi doesn't want to release your line if you got billshocked by Maxis?

And how you even got billshocked by Maxis in the first place, if it's up to Digi to have your number ported then?

Things don't add up here.

When i said that maxis got bill shock problem was when i checked on maxis thread.

All maxis user comment seems scary.

So i guess celcom is the best for iphone plan. Right?

Don't worry, even in KL sometimes will face this problem. Usually twice a month.
When I call CS, they will say give them 24 hours to resolve the problem.

Depends on your usage. Maxis is not that bad, and with the new policy of just capping the speed rather than charging when user finish their allocated quota, I think most users will not have billshock now. Am a celcom user though, and sometimes their customer service ppl are damn dumb.

i just asked my E&E engineer friend who work in hua wei, he told me that sometime interference came from thailand and even indonesia will cause problem.

wt... just wait celcom to recode and hope it can solve asap, otherwise really can't finish 4GB quota in a month, waste lah...

No idea why but celcom 3G reception on my iphone 5 is much worse compared to when I was using iphone 4. At my work place I only get 1-2 bars on 3G, had to switch to E today as I couldn't receive pics on my whatsapp. Gosh, what's wrong with celcom?
