But download speed is no good. laugh.gif
Nevertheless, my sister's house is out of coverage for UniFi but her Streamyx 4Mbps is pretty good actually. Speedtest shows around 4.1Mbps and 2 iPads and 2 Galaxy Note II are connected via WiFi and do streaming. thumbup.gif
*
many area still have streamyx 1Mbps even, like mine doh.gif

so maxis definitely is better than streamyx in a lot of places even with single channel modem, thumbup.gif

The speed boost is quite amazing biggrin.gif

I know the original manufacturer for this one

Original cable is SYV 50-3 if they didn't reconfigure
*
You bought from them before? hmm.gif

QUOTE(digilife @ Dec 23 2012, 12:18 AM)
Is this the Same as the One that i bought from your fren together with the MF600?

Yes, the same. Only my cable longer than yours laugh.gif

QUOTE(chuahcs79 @ Dec 23 2012, 01:24 AM)
i think he refer to one of the reason i might know

openwrt redial the connection only up to how many times,

whiel stock firmware redial is infinite ,

let say example,

since maxis last down 3 hour,

when i wake up, V2 stock firmware able to redial and connect even after how many time redial

but the openwrt V1 is not able to redial through the last 3 hour,.. and i have to manually reboot for it to redial again,..
*
OpenWRT solution for auto redial infinite times is to set the auto ping? If not mistaken if it gets disconnected and then detect a connection trying to internet, it will auto redial right?

For me stock firmware sometimes hang if never off for a few days doh.gif

i mean the number of times the router redial,.

stock firmware was able to redial and successfully connect even maxis down 3 hour 2~5am last time,.

and my openwrt is totally DC after 3 hour,.. not able to redial anymore

i was suspecting number of redial in openwrt is not infinite hmm.gif

It seems like there is a limit...
1) 3g reconnect fail (persist doesn't work?)
2) Automatically reconnect when 3G link go down
3) 3G modem does not reconnect

I'm sure your speed is higher than that. Speedtest.net sometimes not very accurate sweat.gif

I am experiencing something weird

Simcard put in modem cannot connect even direct usb to pc.

But simcard in i3Gs can connect, meaning fon as modem tether to pc can.

Maxis up to something again?

Happened just after 5am

OpenWRT seem more stable in the short run, performance wise, less issue .

Yes, but unless you using a solid OpenWRT build it may crashes in the long run.

Since no one there to reset the whole setup if anything happen. smile.gif
