i think another member here experience the same problem.  Try charging it to full without power it on.  Then use it like normal.  Did you do any system update recently?  It is either the battery calibration gone haywire or the battery really got problem.

At first,my battery was 100%,around 1 hour usage,.only 1% battery drain,after that battery runs normally,until 35%,then auto switch off,I believe its the 4.2.1 update,because during 4.1,I have no problem at all

I had once auto reboot when i install hd widget n put widget on the lock screen.uninstall it no prob adi.but din have battery prob that will shutdown itself.might b ur unit batt faulty.send for repair.

I'm afraid they can't help because I believe its a software problem

Facing the same issue. N7 somewhat laggy & random reboots. Have a 16gig US model I dunno what has the update done 

So... The main point here is...

Did you ever feel extreme lagginess on your Nexus 7?
Did you ever find any apps closing itself because of lack of memory??

I doubt so... Why complain when there's no problem? Why get bothered about the figures? It is NOTHING!!!

Yea... in phones with 512MB RAM, this figure tells a lot. But in most of the 1G RAM phone, it isn't a problem unless the manufacturers tangan gatal let their stock apps overload the RAM. Btw... 400MB, is even enough for you to buffer whole youtube 1080p songs or even 10mins clip into it. It's a lot actually!

My advice: Just use it like it is UNTIL you found a problem... THEN, only you SEEK for solution.

Ya, it doesn't feel laggy at all, just feel weird, y not laggy but low ram figure. Woke up today and checked it again. 600mb free ram. LOL

My google voice search does not seems to be working.

I drag d google from d bottom of the tablet, the google card page shows up
I tried typing and search, can get result.
But if i tap the microphone icon and speak to it, it will just display Can't reach Google at the moment.

i think that not tablet problem.maybe the problem from your connection or connectify.
i also face same problem with you when i connect with connectify. sometime google voice work sometime not.
try to reconnecting, restart connectify or reboot laptop.
