Hi, I was wondering if anyone else is doing Question 2 (price index) of the Add Math project?

I have a question regarding Part 2 ( c ) (i). Where can I obtain the weightage values?

Thanks, good luck on your projects and enjoy the rest of your holidays!

These weights are usually based upon expenditure data obtained from percentage of your family's monthly expenditure in Part 2 (a). You can also compare your weights with the estimates of the composition of consumption expenditure in the Consumer Price Index Malaysia April 2013 (Updated: 22/5/2013). Then, make a conclusion about your family's expenditure based on these findings. icon_idea.gif

You have to choose either using symbols, drawing, lyrics of a song or a poem to express your feeling and opinions creatively. It doesn't tell you to write a song.Maybe choose a song that fits into what you feel when your doing the add maths project?

This is actually extracted from a past year GCSE . GCSE and SPM are 99.9% similar , including the mark schemes .

Oh , this is an organic chemistry question .

Any useful guidelines on Carbon Compounds ? I think it's the longest chapter , longer than Salts , Salts is easier .

I don't agree with N.S's decision not to release their Add Maths project question during the holidays . Now all I can do is to watch you all complete your projects while I wait for mine to be announced .

Precisely ! Unfortunately , my school lab doesn't have the necessary materials to conduct the experiment .
The interesting thing is , why , a basic material like broken pieces of pottery can be used to catalyse the cracking process ?

Focus on the classes of organic compounds and their reactions. Pay attention to the conditions of the reactions as well because those are quite specific.

I know what it is. But the question is "What does this remind you of?". And it reminds me of PMR science. Not kidding.
Incidentally, this setup can be used for various purposes such as dehydration of alcohol and production of oxygen.
