Thanks for the information stevan. Well, im planning to go for full time course. As i dont want to waste so much time on half working and half studying. Yea.. I was thinking of wanna get myself to the PTPTN counter and have a ask. By then, i was from East Malayisia. Its just kinda hard for me to fly over and just for asking some question. And i had tried the mail them (through email) 2 weeks ago yet i got any reply from them.

anyone that tried to repay their loan using maybank2u? for the number rujukan, mine is 00xxxxxx. so, do i need to key in the leading zeroes??? how long will it take to update my penyata?

the payment site @ ptptn.gov.my is damn dodgy. dunno whether can trust or not. too many pop ups.

Anyone received a pink card stating "Permohonan Pinjaman Pendidikan PTPTN"?

Dunno what's that for besides informing they have received your application and they are processing your application. Really a waste of resource.

HMMaster u do key in the 000... followed by the remaining numbers for payment in maybank2u

Are you in IPTA or IPTS? *read above...* Ohh... IPTA... They pay more attention to IPTA instead of IPTS...

Well... Way the go PTPTN... I finished my WHOLE programme already and they still haven't given me the fund.

I hope it releases this week or so... If not I'll be fumed again... Like last time.

P/s: Is there any possibilities to change the half to full loan?

My half loan only enough to pay for hostel and academic fees . And more two hundred need to use to pay them for other payment. Now, don't have any money for any food, motorcycle petrol, books, and others . Need to ask for family money everyday ..

Can't use any strong reason ..

1) Tanggungan anak ramai (disertakan dengan surat beranak)- Cannot since there's "bin" for father
2) Pendapatan sesi rumah (Already sent before, can't cheat anymore) - Cannot

if put:

3) Family don't want to support? Already "dibuang rumah" ? Living alone .. Can?

or

4) Kos hidup yang tinggi? Harga barang naik? Petrol naik?


Anyone that already success in this application, please give advice ..

WHOLE programme and you never get any loan? how can that happen? what course are you taking?

Well, they did release fund but my suppose to be last fund release is still not in!!! (Sorry for the misunderstanding)

Here are the releases of the fund to me back then. I applied on somewhere near ending 05.

Jan 06 * Waited for a while.
Jun 06 * Release due to new sem in my IPTS.
Nov 06 * Mix up release with new batches. Considered as an extra release.
Apr 07 * Awfully late in release! Again!!!

Nov 07 - Dec 07 * Nothing came...

They provide a RM15000 loan for my studies and they give RM2500 per release. Now I already have RM10000, I want to take back RM2500 from them to pay back my relatives due to PTPTN's very late release of the funds.

I finished my courses already and was expecting the fund to be released in November because my IPTS financial department told me that they already submitted my study status and results to the PTPTN office. All I do is wait and I didn't expect to wait that long!! Final exam finish and still nothing!!

I emailed them, no reply... I ask my IPTS financial department officer to call them, the worker in charge of our IPTS is either 'outstation' or 'away'...

PTPTN only focuses on IPTA... Meaning that all IPTS people SHOULD NOT be recommended to apply for PTPTN.

It is very reliable for IPTA but NOT for IPTS.

but i notices that ptptn are easier to get approved in ipts rather than in ipta becaused of higher interest paid back...dunno if this is true

May I know which IPTS are you in? As for me, I am from MMU and I must say PTPTN pays us quite frequent and punctual.
Maybe a lot us are PTPTN recipients, around 90% and above of MMU's local students applied for PTPTN loan. Thus, if they don't pay us, we can't pay for our fees. Maybe MMU does help us on the process of getting the payment, I am not so sure about this.

Yeah, I fruitie said right. Everyone is standardized at 3%. Well, even if i'm from an IPTS and got approved, My friend from IPTS didn't get approved. They need to see the requirements needed to apply the loan. So if you are at the right spot, then you're in.

That's good for you! But not to me. I'm from a College in Sarawak, SICS. It's a subsidary of UCSI. It's very inconvenient of them to do this to us. A few times I forked out my relatives money and that is really humiliating. I don't want to burden my parents on my education because I know this will take a toll on my family's income.

So as a child, I must not burden my parents but I may BURN PTPTN if they don't release the fund for us IPTS students soon. I'll flame them if I had to.

Oh ya, standardized percentage, double standard treatment...

if u really want the full loan, its ok.. if want to apply to enjoy or want to get more money..better not..
if can berjimat.. better do it
becaouse u have to pay for it..
i already finish study, and now paying for what i borrowed..i add my loan ammount and have to pay a lot..

Well, in your case, you can always call PTPTN for clarification? This shouldn't be happening because once you are granted with loan, you should be paid accordingly.
So far I've not heard of such long delay in PTPTN's payments. You should really check out the real issue behind all these problems.

i also faced with this problem too before(study in usm).. so its not only u who face this prob

its not about ipta or ipts

Its been 3 weeks now since my friends receives their loans..
Me and some of my friends still receive nothing..
