No use contacting them. My IPTS financial department helped me call them and sometimes the person in charge for our IPTS is either 'away' or 'outstation'...

I emailed them also no reply one! So how to clarify like that? They have been 'surprising' me with the loans ever since I got granted with it.

I pity you also... I know how it feels like... I'll screw a philips screw up them!

Well, I've heard that they have been working secretly under an organization to 'curb rasuah'... I wonder what's going on with my loans? (jk)

Well, I advise you better get use to it. If it happens once, it will happen from the day you sign the agreement to the day your finals and in the end, graduation.

I mean for every release.

* Another point to ponder: They have been updating their website on some flimsy updates and no news on the IPTS release schedules. It's been 'in updating status' till now. And the schedule is for the fund releases for 2007/2008...

I wonder if 2007 exists in their calendar.

My course value is RM30K and the loan offered to me was RM31500.

Due to the technical issues with the online application, every payment and funding process in my uni are going on so fast in such a way that we didn't even know that the loan had been released and had been paid directly to my uni.

I don't know how much was paid and how much was credited into my bank account. But, when I checked my bank balance, I had an additional amount of RM386.

Always take a statement from your Uni/College finance department to check on it
If your college/uni have its own online finance kiosk to check, you can retrieve everything from there
The extra 1500(was for Science stream which is free from "interest" )

how cum u cant get ptptn, no need apply also can get if u enter IPTA, u get RM1500 when u receive the offer letter from IPTA

I had that too for the first issue... it's included in the RM31500 but released as an extra for you.

i've started my course in a IPTS for 1 semester now i wanted to apply PTPTN Loan.
could someone who had sucessfully applied guide me what should i do now?
Since now no more "Online application" available, what should i do now?
should i go to ptptn office at KL-Centre with parents and all relevent docs?

my sis finished first sem but ptptn still nt yet come...she applied on9 during august but later the on9 system down...then applied using the form in october but till nw no updates...their last update on the website is 8th october...zzz
this 31st dec need to pay rm3k for new sem...dunno hw to survive d...very stress nw...

Their service is getting unreliable. Usually I get the fund right after my IPTS admins send our result to them within a month or 1.5 months. This is getting annoying for people who are in need of using the money for important things. Some 'financial assistant'...

Next time someone ask me about PTPTN for IPTS, I won't recommend that to them. But if they still insist, then I have no choice but to advise my friends to work hard for the money instead of waiting for it. Like I did...

You need to purchase the manual form and submit it back to PTPTN
You need to purchase Setem Hasil as well if not mistaken

Yes, Setem Hasil is needed to attach together with the form. You can get it at Pos Office for RM20.

Yes, I had already asked my UNI about my statement and they said that it is yet to be updated. In addition, my UNI uses an online system where as everything is done via online from assignments, billings, forums and etc. So, I checked my online billings and it is still stated that I'm owing the university a sum of RMXXXX. Anyhow, my first semester had already been paid, given the course confirmation slip and had even finished my exam. Fiuhhh....

Yes! Buy the form from PTPTN office and/or you may consult your institution on how they deal with loan applications. As for me, those PTPTN fellas came to my UNI and did everything on the spot, from application verification, submission, loan agreement and so forth. Furthermore, they made us to pay RM40 for 'duty stamp'. Within 3 weeks, my first semester had been paid!
