i tried to restore back everything from samsung kies, which I did a backup earlier... for many other things I can restore, but the samsung kies just don't let me restore my apps, it says i have 38 apps in there, but the option is just remained unchecked and greyed-out, cannot select it at all...

anyone got solution for this?
other than titanium or other backup apps?

I was experience this 3 mode yesterday... one is Auto mode (no EV, no flash), another one is Night Mode, another is Low Light mode... all capture the same location... but different results.

Auto mode.. sucks! Too much noise produce in indoor... if set to ISO 100... even worst, cant see the thing u capture.. .too dark! and the options available for select is upto ISO 800... somehow, if u put ISO in auto mode, the camera can manage to capture the picture in ISO 2500... that's why so much noise produced.

Night mode... looks much better but your hand have to be very steady...
Low Light mode ... Better than Auto mode a lot ...  smile.gif

I never try burst shot. Some options are not available if u choose night mode or low light mode...

Added on December 14, 2012, 11:07 pmAnd actually... the camera in Note 2 is quite good... just the firmware setting problem i guess... coz using 3rd party apps does not have this issue...

i dont really recommend night mode minor shake will have blur.
Low light mode is okay but for low light performance lumia 920 wins all the way. Hand shake still can stablized shutter speed can go to 0.3 somemore.

yea ... force to use flash if really cant take nice photo in low light ... btw ive seen few review of comparison Note 2 vs Lumia 920 camera test ... some area in low light... Note 2 looks better... but mostly Lumia wins haha... and I think Note 2 is the best samsung camera phone so far...

Example of photo taken by Note 2 looks better than Lumia 920:

Lumia 920:

Sorry for the silly question, but how do you control shutter speed in the Note2 with the stock camera?

Malaysia brought in the GT7100 model ma, does not come with LTE. The GT7105 comes with LTE, if im not mistaken, Singapore carries N7105 because they implemented LTE quite awhile back while ours is still in the process.

Dont take it too hard la, H+ speeds are pretty good also. Even if LTE is ready to be used in our country, not many phones can support the band ma, take fruit's latest 5. Cannot support our LTE band even though it comes with LTE chip.

tks for your info so much. btw, curious to ask that what is the max speed you get when on H+ ?
i using maxis, so far the highest speed i get is only 6Mbps++. most time average i get is around 2-3Mbps++ only.
i curious that maxis claims their H+ can hit 42Mbps.

It doesn't open up to 42Mbps yet. smile.gif Though the infrastructure is ready.
I can get 20Mbps on my broadband. smile.gif
On my phone, nearly 10Mbps. smile.gif

Guys I'm currently on ARHD 5.0 rom with persus kernel. Planning to update to 6.0 and try out the redpill kernel. My question is, how do I flash the kernel separately? Has anyone tried redpill before? Do I have to do a full wipe going from 5.0 to 6.0? Your insights are much appreciate.Thank you

No need full wipe as you are using same developer
Flash kernel from recovery mode

Well omega is stock like, stable and have the required minor mods i needed. Plus it got a fast torrent. Not to say I am an omega lover but its just more convenient for me. Its a good base for me to theme my phone to my liking.
