I have had no problem with data. If you do, a few things to consider
1) Check if your telco is doing anything in your area
2) Clean your sim card contact
3) Maybe faulty sim card
4) Something else

Anyone facing S-Pen hovering problem?

Like overly sensitive? Before my S-Pen even touch the screen, it already make movements on the page or even started drawing even before I touch the screen.

Came across a video to solve it, by turning the screw inside the S-Pen itself. Anyone tried it before?
*
If you dun want to open up the s-pen, go claim warranty and exchange for a new one.

i just  dont understand, about rooting and flashing..
why must a phone need rooting ? and what the functions of ROMS.. read only memory ?
how many ROMS there ? each ROM gives different function ?
stock ROM vs custom ROM ? CONS and PROS ?
then talking about kernel ? what is that ?
so rooting is it like reinstalling new android operating system ?

Dun understand then read more

Hi all Gurus. Would like to seek your advice.
During charging, the awake session was pretty active. After unplugged,  the awake session becomes normal.

Is that normal?  Thanks in advance.

by the way, 3rd case of exploding charger...please report to samsung..still claim it is normal
*
Samsung never claim it is normal. How can exploding/spark in charger be normal. doh.gif

Just someone wrote an article that the hissing charger is normal (not sure if the source is samsung or not). I dun think this 2 is related as the latest charger exploded does not have hissing sound. unsure.gif

well, samsung still refuse to acknowledge that hissing issue is not a safety concern.
*
Cos there is no proof that hissing sound causes explosion. Take time to read my post and the user's post, his unit got no hissing sound.

this make me worried now. i rather have a hissing charger  doh.gif
*
sweat.gif Mine got but very soft, my ear need to be right next to the charger to hear it. It is actually not a hissing, more like a very fast vibration. People says its caused by the high freq transformer required for fast charging rate and greatly reduce the size of the adapter. Thats the reason why we have such a small adapter head (almost similar to S2 size) but can charge twice as fast. sweat.gif

I know i cannot link them together but samsung have to answer this. The fact that 3 users from lowyat reported about exploding charger creates a question mark.
*
People with exploding charger should go make a report on the safety of the adapter head to SIRIM or some certification/safety body and CC to samsung malaysia.

Sure get instant respond. rclxms.gif

not sure about your non-hissing sound exploded charger.

but on the other new charger which produce hissing sounds is normal?
Many says that it should not be normal... quite funny i find in your technician there.

Can I use this analogy, one patient died of other cause. another patient diagnosed with AIDS, but there are also AIDS found on other patients, but this problem cannot be fixed. So the conclusion is AIDS is normal. lol...
*
Frankly if u ask the aunty that sweep the floor she will also say charger got hissing sound is not normal. Dun need technician/engineer for that.

But you must know the fact, the note 2 adapter is different from other older adapters cos of its charging speed and small size. The technology/component used can/will be different. Thus u cannot conclude that hissing sound is abnormal as it could be totally normal.

Conclusion --> Samsung need to make a formal announcement.
