Just go to their website and take a look on the customisation given.

What size is your preference?
Do you like it heavy or light?
What is the main purpose for your laptop? Gaming? Surfing and movies? Graphic design?

I recommend RU-14 Pro to you. It's the lightest notebook we carry and it's very suitable for your usage.

Then go for the RS-15/RE15.

That should be enough for you as you want it light. Believe me, the 17 inch weighs a tonne! (Got scold by AirAsia personnel cause my backpack is heavy)

Hi,

RE-15 has optical drive but RE-13 and RU-14 don't have.

RAM Slots
RE-15 = 3
RE-13 Pro = 2
RU-14 Pro = 2

SATA Connectors
RE-15 = 2
RE-13 Pro = 1
RU-14 Pro = 1

mSATA Connectors
RE-15 = 1
RE-13 Pro = 2
RU-14 Pro = 1

Hi moiskyrie,

Although we did not test Linux ourselves but according to some users the drivers work perfectly in Linux platform.
