Hi all unit trust specialists,
Looking at current China market share prices, which funds would you recomend (inclusive of regional funds)?

Thanks in advance for your sharing!
*
Well, you may consider for OSK-UOB BIG CAP CHINA ENTERPRISE FUND.

Do take note of not dreaming for super high growth on China economy that could fuel super bull run on China stocks!

Agree with you, not really convinced by the chinese.. Sorry not mean to be racial thing.
*
Well, the Chinese government has publicly pointed that they're going to slow down and do economic rebalancing.

So, the super bull old days are over. China equities will up in medium run since the current valuation is low. Medium run could take up 5 to 7 years.

Huh.. 5 - 7 years! If hold something for 3 years still cannot breakeven, definitely will get sleepless nights if the amount is big!

Brother Kaka23, I'm just stating the reality. Given an average annual GDP and growth rate of 7 to 7.5% for China, do you think that miracle happened in the last decades or two could repeat itself.

In fact, I'm actually quoting the outlook from Eastspring speak last month and she's also not focusing on short term (1 to 3 years).

for no one can really know when the Chinese leader would "say" he would support the mkt...

I agree on this as there's no clear timeline on the reform and economic rebalancing.

They'll define a bottom line for it which is the 7% of growth.

There's no pace rate nor other indications to measure of judge the effectiveness of those reforms.

God knows, China may enter into a decade of "darkness" or "hollow" like Japan 20 years of mirage.

The link has become invalid because of the recent meager between RHB and OSK-UOB.

I have updated a link from RHB-OSK website:

Introduction to Unit Trust

I also added a link from FSM.

cimb principal balanced fund and cimb global titan fund so far so good, any caution to the upcoming taper by U.S?
*
CIMB Global Titan Fund will still benefit from monetary easing from Eurozone and Japan.

Tapering and interest rate hike expectation by Federal Reserve may not be a bad thing as it could signal a solid economic recovery.

Is there a difference between sales charges of FSM vs going through a unit trust consultant?
*
UTC will charge higher SC in between 5.5% to 6.5%

If you buy online from online platform, it'll be lower at 2%

What is loading fee? Is referring to upfront charging of service fee right?

KGF charges 5.5%, CIMB Dali charges 6.5%.

Not sure what this is and if it can be discounted?
*
I think you can get discounted SC if you purchase CIMB DALI from CIMBClicks.

For KGF, you may have only FSM and eUT. I'm not sure if CIMBClicks has KGF or not since CIMB also distributes funds from other fund houses.

Sorry im a bit confused.

1) Whats the difference between the front loading fee and sales charge?
2) What does FSM and UTC's charge for each?
*
1. No difference
2. FSM and eUT: 2% top

*eUT has 0% promotion now with T&C. Refer to https://www.eunittrust.com.my/fundInfo/promotions.asp

CIMBClicks doesn't have KGF and it offers 2.5% SC to all the equity and balanced funds it distributes including not in-house
