QUOTE(aaronsuarez95 @ Jan 29 2013, 10:49 PM) but my friend says it have 5 years warranty When you buy a PSU, you prefer it to work well continuous mah.. Not work well 1 year, die.. Then RMA then rinse and repeat Besides, PSU wattage decreases under prolonged usage.. Sooner or later youll need to change PSU too xD

QUOTE(marfccy @ Jan 29 2013, 10:35 PM) Sadly to say, you cant future proof a PC. The next generation processors codenamed 'Haswell' are coming out soon (prolly June) with a new platform socket. So, when it is released, the current LGA1155 will be obsolete And as the years pass by, the replacement parts will be hard to procure Yeah, I understand that 3 years is too much to ask in IT world. Anyway, how about AMD platform? Is there a new gen processors coming soon?

Based on your draft: B75 mobo RM229 4gb ram RM74 500gb HDD RM169 Sapphire 7850 RM639 FSP Hexa 500W RM150 Total RM1261 Even an i3 3220 cost around RM344 will over your friend's budget too. Plus, casing and dvd rom not included. Do your friend play games a lot? If yes, what games he played the most? Any pc component that he might want to re-use? [such as HDD, casing, psu, etc...]

Looking for a gaming rig build meant for high-end usage. Budget is RM3000 and requires EVGA Geforce GTX. As for the requirement, it's supposed to be cheaper. If you can get a better price from other companies, put it in.
As for what I intend to use it for, online and offline gaming. Online: LoL, Mechwarrior Online, Planetside 2. Offline: Far Cry 3, DMC, Crysis 3 (when it is out)
Preferably quote me a rig that can run these things at high (not max) settings.

609+289+119+1449+199+59+200+269 RM3193. Hmm... is it possible to get any lower than that? Changing to a lower-grade GTX with the same 2GB DDR5? Besides that, may I ask why you quote MSI GTX670 instead of EVGA? This post has been edited by manafusion: Jan 30 2013, 11:52 PM
