I've been out of DIY market for a while, now have to catch up a bit...
For some quick reference here, I'm going to build sort of a media pc. The usage would be mostly HD movies/music, internet, FB, video calling/conferencing, no gaming though so I presume a dedicated graphic card won't be necessary. The budget would be below RM1500 without monitor because I'll get a cheap LED TV for it.
So I need recommendation on (Intel or AMB based would be fine):
1. Processor
2. Motherboard
3. 4GB RAM
4. 500GB/1TB hard drive
5. DVD drive
6. PSU
7. Wireless keyboard+mouse
8. Webcam
9. WiFi adapter
10. Bluetooth adapter
11. Casing

And I'll need this to be future proof. By this I mean down three years whenever a part goes kabut I can easily get replacement from the market i.e. no obsolete part

Yeah, I understand that 3 years is too much to ask in IT world.
Anyway, how about AMD platform? Is there a new gen processors coming soon?
