Dota 2 is not a very graphical intensive game but since you wanted to play other 3D games, i assume those games like Hitman Absolution, FC3, MOHW etc etc, therefore i suggested the HD7870 which will give you decent frames on med-high settings

i3 is fine for gaming, but will suffer if high CPU requirement games comes in, such as Far Cry 3, Elder Scrolls Skyrim

the HD6850 is more powerful but since its an old gen GPU, itll consume more power than the 7000 series
