Hmm any recommendation for 14cm LED fans?

Enermax Vegas Duo and Bitfenix Spectre Pro LED nice anot?

If non LED,quiet type would be AC F-12...if a bit noisier but good CFM would be either Scythe GT 1850RPM or Noctua P12 laugh.gif

Let's say u got a NZXT Phantom 410 casing..which fan u will put inside?

For me:

Front and top: 140 mm Bitfenix Spectre Pro LED or Enermax Vegas Duo (Front intake and top exhaust)
Rear and side: 120 mm Scythe Gentle Typhoon 1850RPM (Rear exhaust and side intake)

This way can get both balance between CFM and noise as well as some bling bling from the LED tongue.gif What do you guys think?

EDIT:Btw,can LED from fans switched off? hmm.gif

Any recommended super quiet 120mm fan? Not so expensive ones.. Couldn't get a good night sleep without turning off my PC..

Thanks!

you can opt for the Artic F12 for about RM25 each, good air pusher with minimal noise wink.gif

Bot too sure of 140mm fans but the Bitfenix line sure looks promising, Would probably do 140mm all the way if the 410 is in my possession but maybe an LED strip would be advisable for bling bling, you could get the NZXT Hue for example

not all fans can have their LED turned off, The Bitfenix ones can be done but you'll need to pair it with a Hydra Pro or a compatible switch to do that

actually that jumper is meant to be paired with a switch like the BitFenix Hydra Pro can toggle on/off wink.gif

Yup, but just in case we dont have the fan controller, can always pull out the jumper ourselves biggrin.gif.

That's what i was trying to say in case he assume he needs the fan controller to control the LED's blush.gif

Thanks!

I bought an Antec TrueQuiet and installed it last night. Noise level is really minimal.
Can't really say much about the temperature as I'm not measuring it. tongue.gif

Only gets noisy when used after a while? I guess you could replace it, it's not too expensive to do so and not too hard to replace it yourself either wink.gif

Hey guys, i've got a scout 2 which has a stock red led fan and was thinking of adding to this bitfenix spectre red led. The stock fan can be turned off via switch on front panel, is there any way to link that switch to the spectres as well? Dont want them on all the time tongue.gif plus whats the sound like with the bitfenix spectre? Originally wanted f12 pwm from arctic cooling but black nd white theme so hard to do, going for black nd red biggrin.gif

How the front fan connected to control panel? An image of that might help us to find suitable expander slot for that.

the front panel connected via 2 pin to fan then fan via 3 pin to mobo. there's another 2 pin from the front panel switch available as well. i'm quite new to building PCs sorry if i'm wrong but the 2 pin is for the LED i suppose? does the spectre led pwm have that kind of connection as well? and can i daisychain them to be switched off via one switch? thanks guys~

I had a CM690II and the front LED switch is a no go with bitfenix fans because of the connectors being both "females" on the 690II and the fans

Well, they don't have high RPM and speed but i find them suitable for HSF mount, I done a test and will show in my review on the BitFenix spectre pros in a while wink.gif
