Thank you for inquiry bro. The best part is not the TV channels for the Streeaming Apps.

I would like to clarify that we are not IPTV provider, we are selling the Android Hardware that you can install the Android Apps to watch the online or stream local files on your TV directly. If you have any interesting apps in mind just let us know we will install for you. By default we have installed all the common streaming apps including Netflix, Hulu, xBMC, Youku, Xunlei,....

I just want to compliment this seller for his professionalism and customer oriented approach be it during inquiries to after sales service.

Solved my problem on Q5 Model.

Great job and keep it up.

Received Q6II from Nicety last nite. No doubt, he is really as good as all the compliments he received from his customers.

This little beast is handsomely built and fit nicely into my home theater system. Setup was really simple to get it loaded and running. Detail walkthrough/setup instruction from nicety to obtain “additional content” is really helpful and that made him really standout and distinguish from a regular shop/seller.

To my surprise, I tested a 33Gig ISO movie from my NAS and it play flawlessly without gigabit LAN. Q6II LAN only 100Mbps. (My Quad core PC need gigabit LAN to prevent lag when playing ISO file).

Really like the HiControl app for mirroring, track pad and remote function through my Note2 as the GUI is simple and easy to navigate.

After few hours of testing, I manage to convince my colleagues to get this Q6II. Going to get 2 more units from him hopefully tonite.

Thank you Dannyoski for your support and compliment :-)

Most of the USB portal HDD should works, so far tested Toshiba, WD, Samsung up to 2TB in size. According to Himedia, 3TB is no problem as well.

Since you read thru all the pages in this thread, just to be noted some of the Q5 first generation features might not applicable any more such as Favorites Apps no longer available in Q5II.

info to share with all

If you read from other thread or other forum which mentioned Q6II come with Gigibit network port, this is not true. I have double confirmed with Himedia Q6II LAN is only 100Mbps. Dannyoski could confirm this as well.

I personnaly prefered Q6II. In the eye of beholder, it looks more premium with black alluminuim casing material. sweat.gif

Its a Duo core A9 CPU.

Q6II got 1 chip changed to enable faster bootup speed. Correction me if im wrong. BTW, what is the bootup speed for Q5II?

Hows the performance of XBMC on it?
Especially the live streaming?
I am still trying to find the right box to play xvmc on a dedicated box especially from NTV which is in my signature link
Don't want any stutter when I view live soccer matches and TV programs from UK

Check it out and register - it's free for 1 week anyways.
I am already on the UK Premium for web and xbmc and happy with it.

Q5II and Q6II is same boot up time. The major different is the casing material and the power button at different location. The rest are the same.

Hi Nicety, I notice a small icon at the right edge of the TV screen about 1/4 the way from the top when connected to the Q5II. It looks like a black arrow head in a white square. This faint icon appears only with the Q5II, but not with other devices.
Is it some kind of device ID?

If not mistaken, this is task manager app. Just click the arrow, you can see the list if apps running at the background. If you do not need this, you can remove the app from Setting -> Apps.
