Hi Nicety, I notice a small icon at the right edge of the TV screen about 1/4 the way from the top when connected to the Q5II. It looks like a black arrow head in a white square. This faint icon appears only with the Q5II, but not with other devices.
Is it some kind of device ID? |

To those still searching for a good China app store for your TV box, there is one at
http://down.7po.com/qipoyingyongshichang/1-1.html It's in Chinese. Download, install, and enjoy testing the apps. |

Nicety, have you installed VST app from 7PO store?
There are a few App Stores in VST. At least there are more choices now. Perhaps you would like to try out these apps. |

Updated my Q5II to 1.0.5 via System Upgrade in Settings. After update, all apps are intact and working properly, including the Mango app.
HiTV can be accessed using any of the servers, not just the HK server. |

In HDP we can add another channel list created by netizens.
1. Navigate left/right to the management list, click on channel management to go to netizens' selections, such as 'su zhou ... - li', 'black horse ...' (in Chinese) etc. Select any one of them and wait till you see a channel list on the right of the screen, then press Return key. 2. Another way to do it is to press Menu key, select channel management ... (as above) The selected list was one click to the left of the management list. Check out the 'black horse ...' first, then try others. Enjoy. |

QUOTE(jutamind @ Sep 26 2014, 09:03 PM) I realize that for those channels that i load based on other web user's sharing like black horse, every time i reboot my q5II, those channels will be gone. i have to go to Channel Management, and readd again. Yes, that happens. Whenever that happens, do you see changes after you reload the channels?Does anyone has similar symptom? |

QUOTE(jutamind @ Sep 28 2014, 07:30 PM) You can save your favourite channels in hdp to a new list titled "My Collection".Select the channel page, press Ok to see the list of channels. Select the desired channel, press and hold down the OK key until a red star appears in that channel box. Then navigate left or right to find My Collection page, it is located to the left of Netizen page. Your saved channel should be listed there. Continue the procedure to compile a list of your favourite channels. To remove a channel from the list, press and hold down OK key until the star disappears. |

The latest togic pad, moli and iqiyi are good too.
In the beginning it takes some time to load the pictures, after that streaming is smooth. |

QUOTE(jutamind @ Oct 25 2014, 09:18 AM) In the past streaming from iqiyi was impossible, even in hitv. Now, it streams 720P without a hitch. That's why I mentioned 'The latest ...'.PPTV, togic, pudding, iqiyi and moli work well for my q5ii. My experience with tuzi (rabbit) and sohu is unfavourable. YMMV. |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Oct 27 2014, 01:49 PM) bro, my experience: So far, from my experience, togic2.8.4 streams super resolution stuff without any problem; iqiyi3.5 streams 720P smoothly but not so for 1080P, pq in iqiyi is very good.pptv, pudding are good, no doubt. i'll add vst too. these 3, i usually can get std and high resolutions, super resolution gets laggy most of the time. togic and iqiyi... these two, the streams r not as stable, best can get std only. can share yr experience as to "work well" means low, std, high or super resolutions for those apps? my comments above are for q5ii dual. the experience for q16 quad is different which i will do a writeup in the q16 thread later.... still testing. My preference is togic and pudding. Maybe the outcome could be different with Q16 quad. |

Today, connection to China websites is back to normal, streaming is smooth.
Does that mean the unifi issue is over? |
