Wait untill the new firmware, by now XBMC not really smooth when play 720p and 1080p file.

Bro, this is nothing to do with the Q5 firmware. This is xBMC native player too resource intensive, just change to external player in xBMC will do or wait for xBMC next release to fix it.
Further detail refer to the below link http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=153734

Info to share with customers

If your HiControl works perfectly but having problem with the HiShare unable to share media with Q5II, this is due to the Rendering Service not started. Just follow the below steps :

1). Goto "M Apps", start "HIDLNA Setting" app.

2). Ensure the Media Renderer Service is ticked as below screen.

Bro, I could not judge your problem by short statement as you given. Pls PM me the detail with screen shot.

For the VPN, please do not use App base VPN, use the Android native VPN in Settings -> Wireless & Network -> More -> VPN. The VPN service provider must support standard VPN protocol PPTP or L2TP or IPSec.

Does that mean Himedia Q5II's hardware cannot support this version of XBMC?

Bro, pls read the forum link. The forum is not refer to Q5II, it happen generally to xBMC in different type of hardware. The solution is set the external player in xBMC.

xBMC is running well since the old Q5, please read Q5 FAQ Q13 which already provided the solution to handle this. This is not somthing new.

I read it, don't really understand...

When you install XBMC for customer, you also install the external player?

No worry bro, we delivered the Q5II with workable xBMC, we know external player is better and we delivered with External Player. This is our differentiation :-)

No, you can watch PPS without proxy depend on what video you stream. But to be noted most of the legal streaming apps including PPS are region sensitive. Some movies could not stream if detected Malaysia IP. That is the reason you need proxy. Once you use the proxy, your Malaysia IP is masked by the proxy IP. If you use China proxy, the China banned websites are not accessible.

Pls test the premium trial. You can test the NTV mentioned in the above few thread as well.

Once again I would like to clarify that I am not the reseller of any paid service. Just merely to share there is such service in the market.
