Thanks for your answer.

But I believe that it's not possible to open Himedia stock player in this box even I used another launcher.
Or .. you can tell me which one is the real native launcher ? may be i'm wrong cos now I can find just only 2.

Thanks for your tut about remote control. very helpful.

The below screen is the native Android launcher, the icon "VideoPlayer" is the Himedia Player.

This is native Android launcher, just goto Settings-> Apps -> Himedia Launcher -> clear default.
When you click Home button from Remote Control, the system will prompt you "Himedia Launcher" or "Launcher". Pls click "Launcher". You will see the blank screen first and look for application button.

I really confuse about my default launcher which looks difference from yours
Seems less icons also there's no himedia player. May be my device firmware is broken. I did factory restore for many times. The result still the same.

Thanks by the way.

Ps. Im from Thailand.

Your are right bro, I mistakenly capture the screen from Q5. Q5II already hide the Video Player, you will not see Video Player from native launcher. I have more icons because I pre-installed 30++ apps for my customers.

P/S: No worry bro, I have forumer from Ireland, UK and India sharing in this thread. Please feel free to share as well.

LiveTV apps in the box only has China mainland channels. You can add other countries tv channels provided you know the urls of those streaming channels.

Navi-X program in XBMC also has lots of tv channels such as those in Astro as well...but not in an organized manner

if you know mandarin, just register an account in the himedia forum (http://bbs.himedia-tech.cn) and you will be able to download user maintained diypaylist. unfortunately, quite a number of links in the list will expire pretty fast.

I've downloaded another china mainland apps: www.togic.com/livetv and found it pretty good...much better than fengyunzhibo.

Yes, xBMC is the standard app we install for all customers. There are live English TV in xBMC addon, but I could not verify if there is any delay or really live. Beside that there are recorded dramas and series. However, I would like to highlight that XBMC is free, there is no guaranteed of service and the source content might not be perfect. You need some effort to find the good source content.

Q5 II comes with Live TV apps that can watch live tv from china. Apart from that, there are many chinese apps out there that can do streaming as well.

one thing i realize is that even with unifi 5mb, live tv streaming is stuttering/not smooth especially with HD live streaming.
