QUOTE(minizian @ Nov 23 2012, 11:23 PM) I had pearl izumi arm warmer in XS and i still not able to wear it as its too loose on my wrist. QUOTE(snowfire64 @ Nov 24 2012, 06:13 AM) Ah. would u consider a brand new but old spez sl2? 3k+. now it's sl4 already....Man sl3 is 5.9k. Way over my budget. And s-works too. Haha. Is there any non s-works with lower price? Guess, i'll be looking for a complete carbon bike then since buying the frame individually is not so viable. :/ with ur budget, n u want a reputable brand, i'd look for a used one from bbs or u can get a used alu with carbon stays from very very reputable brands, like colnago.... such as this http://bicyclebuysell.com/view_item.php?id=152417 just do a search at bbs. u might find something that suits u or this one? http://bicyclebuysell.com/view_item.php?id=173945 ridden by dopestrong, and then big george. got their sweat stain summore. that adds to the value. stolen by voeckler the KOM summore. all tdf luminaries This post has been edited by miaopurr: Nov 24 2012, 07:25 AM |

QUOTE(Ben@Jerry @ Nov 24 2012, 08:05 PM) Hi Guys.. never ridden a ti bike before. but generally ti is known to be in between alu and steel in terms of stiffness. but it depends on the design. it can be made plenty stiff. do some search on the internet, like "bicycle frame materials" etc. and read some of the reviews on the internet. some of the ti bike manufacturers are litespeed, lynskey, moots, van nicholas, serotta, to name a few.New-comer in cycling field.. havent own a bike, but wish to get it soon..wanna ask some opinion about getting new or used is better.. Heard that carbon is light but expensive, and alum is normal and cheap, and titan is very expensive.. curious about what is feeling of riding titan bike, anyone riding a titan bike here? Btw any cyclist around Puchong/ sunway / subang? i'd go with a used one if budget is limited. if money is not an issue, of course get a new one.
