under RM100 i think is very hard unless you wear kids helmets...
i saw a merida one for RM100 or RM140... not fancy... but provides basic protection.. |

personally for me... no more than RM300 unless you really can't find a suitable size...
i love my head... but i love my wallet even more.. anything past that is more form over functionality... This post has been edited by butthead: Nov 29 2012, 06:12 PM |

It's more for enthusiast cyclist.. not for commuting purposes.
It is similar to straps (without the straps) where your foot is more secured to the pedal among the multiple reasons... it also allows you to practice a more perfect pedal stroke rather than just pushing down on the pedal alone. |

QUOTE(Mac Wai @ Nov 29 2012, 10:56 PM) Added on November 29, 2012, 11:05 pmHa ya.. been raining every evening,no chance to ride. Dun ask me to ride in the rain as I am made of paper, cat instinct! Need to do some night riding. I already have a rear blinker but that is to dangerous for me facing the on coming traffic. I am going to buy front lighting for this purpose. Bosses here, should there be any particular area of lighting gear to look out for and also to avoid. Ek.... I am sticking out my arm to you sir... Jab aaway! QUOTE(Nakaoji @ Nov 29 2012, 11:23 PM) Just want to ask you guys opinion. if you are afraid, don't do it...Should i cycle back home from my university ? I live in Ampang and my university is at Bangsar. Should i or should not ? What do you guys think? Btw, just a heads up, my bike is Raleigh Diablo Pro. if you are not, do it at your own consideration... ampang is rather far though.. and if it rains especially like this 2 months... chances of you getting drenched is high... still ok on the way back... but going to uni... defiintely a no-no... QUOTE(yolk @ Nov 30 2012, 07:21 AM) Planning to get some bike shorts over the weekend. How do I know which padding is good and which isn't ? Also i've been doing some research and it's recommended that riders lube the padding and nether region before putting on the shorts to reduce/eliminate chaffing especially when doing long rides .. ermm what kind of lubes to use and is there other generic brand/makes that can be used that cheaper compared to getting it at the bike shop ?? there are chamois cream that you can buy from bike shops... not cheap though... cheap alternatives is actually vaseline petroleum jelly but being not water based will be harder to wash off...Thanks i heard those baby diaper cream works too... but never bothered with it anyway... padding is personal preferential... there are foam, gel type pads.. and then there is those one piece, contour type or anti microbial... lots of choices and you will only know after trying on a pair or two which type you like... Will have to compare those really expensive ones with cheaper ones to see the difference in the padding. QUOTE(Mac Wai @ Dec 1 2012, 10:08 AM) Added on December 1, 2012, 10:29 am Not a chance..but roadpee is another story. Pros do it, during major tours, away from watching eyes. For ladies tour, crouching tiger? dun try those professional style peeing, or muscle flexing on the bike... very bad outcome... i am the victim of the latter one... safest way too pee... and you contribute back to nature...just make sure no pretty chicks is looking.. ![]() you must think it's a water bottle isn't it??? ![]() armstrong supporter fat cyclist wrote an article on how to pee on the bike...which is off little relevance.. but if it fancies a try... should be interesting... How To Pee Whilst Riding Your Bike most pros just let fly on the go... you see teammates pushing them and then without doing anything.. they pee in their bibs like a baby pissing in the diaper...gross, but fast and effective.. and no chance of your snake being shown on facebook... the one thing you should never try... or you end up looking like an alien who doesn't know how to fly a UFO... ![]() |

So no solutions to a gurly nature screaming call? you can buy a condom and out a hose at the tip and connect it to your water bottle... wear it while you go riding and when nature calls... jus pee in and it will fill the bottle.... super discreet ajd ppl will thino its chrisantemum tea |
