The one you posted above looks too classic..I want the one I can take to the mountains and descend with confidence smile.gif

you are saying greg lemond, miguel indurain, bernard hinault and all the other riders are either idiots or dingbats as they rode those similarly designed bikes to reputable tour victories as claimed by themselves..

hahaha.. in that case, C59 then... timeless. but if u can find a C50, even better
*
there is a reason why old is called old and new is called new...you can't mix them together and expect it to fuse like a vulcan mind meld... or expect to stick scarlett johansson's face onto julie andrews body (of today) and still expect to be attracted to it...

it's just wrong doh.gif

Anyway what's the c59 price like? In RM. I don't mine the grouppos, ultegra would do.
*
C59 frame alone, above RM15k...

and purists runs this bike with campy... ultegra is too cheap for it.. not even dura ace...

QUOTE(miaopurr @ Jan 26 2013, 11:41 PM)
just look at cipo's rb1000. ugly
*
not cheap too.. heard the frame alone is already more than RM10k... could not comprehend...

Yes, imcyclist sells Colnago. This bike, their ordered M size and it sold for RM60k, if my memory serve me right. Colnago invited their dealer to factory visit, and they entitled to order 1 or 2 bikes....

in this kinda case, is it applicable to malaysian market as well?

i presume it is a worldwide recall as they don't have a method of telling which particular forks are affected based on some batch identification number of some sort...

GH will be having some very busy days to come....

my fav recall so far is the mavic r-sys recall...they really went all out for that recall
http://velonews.competitor.com/2009/01/bik...ys-recall_86435

QUOTE
According to Mavic, consumers should immediately cease use of the front wheels and return those to a Mavic dealer. The company has promised to deliver “a new upgraded R-SYS front wheel” at no charge beginning on March 31. Until the replacements become available, the company will also provide consumers with a set of Aksiums wheels that they can keep even after they have received the replacement R-SYS front wheel.

i don't see how that is classic?

at best, this is considered a classic remake...
user posted image

with columbus tubing at least... if there is any chance that anyone still makes a bike with reynolds 531 tubing, even better...

it has to be small round tubes and lugged in order to qualify as classic...

i guess that is the definition.
